Best way to describe it from a my position of observation around studies and data i have read, Mortality rate when data is confirmed same as the flu, but the numbers need to be looked at separate to the flu, so if 650,000 die annually from the flu and they are mainly the old and vulnerable, potentially another similar number 650,000 could be expected from corona again from the same identified group , both deaths are usually from pneumonia or underlying health issues that the virus exacerbates , the common flu pneumonia being bacterial and corona viral pneumonia which looks to be a hell of a lot more labour intensive from health perspective, pushing up the need for more medical attention.
Th global economic shutdown is an over reaction and needs to be called out as one. Just another crisis for the climate change end of world types to hijack.
