I remember Alexis in a tag team with Ivan Koloff in the Georgia territory.  They had won, then lost, the tag belts, and Gordon Solie announced, "It is our understanding that the Soviet Embassy is carefully monitoring the situation."

I remember that!  I was watching it as a kid and my parents just rolled their eyes when Gordon said that.
