I think based on Training and condition....Chaos is the better athlete. stronger cardio and strength wise HE COULD CHANNEL ... his strength more efficient and his muscular endurance. Boxing wise ok a big hit can win but Fitness and toughness is key- taking a few and still dishing it out.

strong as fuck means all around strength on a average, not just strong on bench, or just strong on legs, a collective strength in every muscle of your whole body, as for me Im 39 so I cant be as strong as I like do to age, and the fact I cant afford every AAS needed to have sick strength, so you figure all around strength, Im not going to be as strong as a professional power lifter, but for just a iron pumper, Im pretty solid, I dont see anyone else in the gym curling the 105 dumbells, or curling 225, or doin lat pull 300 20 reps, can donkey calf 500 20 reps, bench half rep or chest rep 225 40 to 45 reps, can bend over row 315 for 4 no belt no straps, my shoulders arent that strong on military bc I do reps and they get tender, I can side lateral 80 lb dumbells, can do dumbell tricep kickbacks with 80 lb dumbells, I dont squat heavy anymore, or do deadlifts that much, mainly bc I never use a belt for training or straps, so for squats and deads i would need to use a belt and wraps, just for support, I can still leg press alot, maybe squat 500 one time, deads not for sure, but all around strength, not just, abs and triceps like galeniko, not just one muscle a guy works 6 times a week, an all around strong iron pumper.

same form ive used ever since i was a kid and the form i used to get up to 287 lbs, Im 275 now, droped some fat, when i was 17 i was 190, when i was 19 i was 236, when I was 27 I got up to 270, when I was 34 I got up to 283, and the most i weighed was some months back 287, thats what form I used.

i was pretty good at chins at one time, i think 15 at the beginning of a lat workout was about my best, and that was in diet mode, when i was 280 i could manage about 8 to 10 on a good day... at the end of a workout, no fucking chance

If he does 25 proper reps and it is filmed, I will gladly assess it and have a few others (Disgusted, Joe etc.) chime in. Proper pull-ups involve getting the entire chin over the bar and, upon lowering, having a full lockout (no half-reps, jerking motions or momentum pulls). Having a wide grip should also be part of it.

that was the best angle seeing i had nobody to film, and i had just got a phone call, so i used the top of the boxing speed bag frame, blocked the wind, and also if i was standing on something why wouldnt i have gone for 25, i have 25 in me, but i lost all momentum and strength when i went down on the last pullup, just couldnt keep it going, you see i just had to give up..........Im gona give ya 25 better than that, I did pullups 3 times this week, i was spent. Heres the tribute to arnold and bill, arnold at the botom, bill at top, I didnt see bill, hes usually there after 2 oclock, I had to go, but they use to have more arnold pics in the case, dont know why they took them down.

Just one question. At the start of the video you managed to grab the bar from a standing position, your head was aligned with the top of the concrete on the bleachers behind you whilst you were standing.
At the end of the video, you seemed to drop down and your head was perhaps a good 6-12 inches below the top of the concrete on the bleachers behind you.
I presume that in your fatigued state your legs buckled or something....

Do you have a plan in place when you expect to modify your training into a different direction?
With your enthusiasm, it would be interesting to see what you'd be capable if you continued to strength train, but put in more of a focus on conditioning, aesthetics and over all well being. You can be 225 and still be strong as fuck, but it would require shedding 50lbs of fat, and getting over the ego related hurdles related to your perceived size vs. others and where you're at now. Your joints and organs will thank you.
Obviously, it's a personal decision, but this man's opinion is you'd be better off leaving 280 lb phase of your 30s and be a lean 220 type guy in your 40's. To each his own, though.

I cant weigh under 260, i just feel unhealthy, like im starving myself, and since i havent trained chest bench hitting bar and locking out for over 20 years, yes it is difficult to just start training that way, from here out i vouch to do one chest touch and lockout bench every other week, that way I stay conditioned for sanctioned style lifts, not that it matters but you guys on the board give me motivation, each time i go train i get more psyched up because i look around myself at the gyms i go to, and say i wonder if any of these fellas are on getbig................lo l..............

I only have to avoid dips, bar bench press (i can do dumbbel press), behind the nech press and upright rows.
No problems with squats, deadlift, pull ups and bent rows only with overhand grip, arms exercises. No problems with heavy dumbbel presses if palms are slighly facing eachother.

If I'm not driving towards a goal, I lose interest, which leads to general fuckarounditis in the gym, which is boring.
I'm not just tossing around weight - it'll be a progression, and I will shut it down if I feel it's not working.

when i was a teen, i played aau for the arkansas kings.............my athleticism is still in tact at 39 years old, but what is the impressive part is how i manage to vertical up at a weight of nearly 280 lbs. at 39 years of age. Thats what shuts it down!

part of the reason for the video is to show how you can retain your athleticism at nearly 40 years old, you dont need a fancy trainer, no complicated fancy workout routine composed by a trainer, just old fashioned iron pumping program and athletic ability, and the fact that im 39 years old and at a weight of nearly 280 lbs, is the other aspect, and finally just a good ole fashioned shut down for my brothers on the board like seven fake copper pennies, uK jeffley, small cyp and others............this shows the diverse spectrum of athletic ability CSWOL displays.

How do you know if what you are doing is working or not? Poundage? Feeling of pump? Size?

Many factors determine strength. I've seen several small dudes with a great bench. Progress in bodybuilding is measured by the accumulation of muscle. You measure this with the scale, tape measure, and body fat analysis.

I think those pull-ups were much better than expected however I would be much more impressed to see 5+ clean reps with good control and form.
Same goes for bench. Why not clean reps? It's just lazy to say because I've always done them that way.

im not big on benching or having a favorite lift............thats the problem with many people, they dont look at everyday in the gym as equally enjoyable, so if you dont love doing every lift how can you begin to be a complete iron pumper, its the love of the iron, not love of doing just a good bench, or curls, or deads, its the whole spectrum, so thats how i look at it, if your goin in the gym and focus on one bodypart or just enjoy doing a few lifts and half ass all the others, thats not pumping iron, its doing some exercises.
