Its new album, self-titled, is excellent, as are the few previous to it.

Of course. I own literally hundreds (probably well over one thousand, now that I think about it) death/extreme metal CDs.

Of course, those in GODDAMN aren't "cookie monster". Extreme, yes.

I enjoy bands featuring barked vocals, oldschool growled vox, ultra-guttural vokills (some truly bowel-rattling), "cookie monster" vocals, BM screetching, MDM rasps, and even select pig squeals (used sparingly).

I'm HUGE into extreme substyles of metal.

Judas Priest IS heavy metal. The most influential metal band of all time. To anyone who KNOWS heavy metal, he knows this is fact.

The second through fifth record, in particular, feature the very foundation upon which the solidified genre is built.
