As opposed to whites of what other hertiage? White means white European....Why they are also called caucasion...hence the Caucous mountains in Europe.

Very good...I stand corrected...but point stands...When you say a "White person"...you are using the term as a race..which most definetly comes from European heritage...If you say white skinned you could include areas of Brazil, etc.

Depends on the field. Difficult to compare an inventor like Edison to an artist like Michelangelo to a composer like Mozart.
