Disgusting communists.

Dems won't help you afford your unsubsidized Obamacare policy, but eleven 2020 Democrats back FREE health care for illegal aliens.

Here are the 2020 Democrats that backed health care for illegal immigrants:

Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO) said, “Undocumented immigrants should have the option of purchasing health insurance on the exchange.”
    Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) said:
Access to quality, affordable health care is a human right. We need to make our health care system more effective and efficient, and we must pass comprehensive immigration reform that creates a pathway to citizenship for those already living in the United States.
South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg said, “Undocumented immigrants should be able to buy coverage through the public option.”
    Julian Castro said yes, explaining:
Undocumented immigrants pay taxes and are contributing members of our communities. I believe they should be eligible for government health care support and put on a pathway to citizenship. I look forward to putting forward a health care plan that addresses the health care gap for undocumented families.
Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) said yes, explaining, “I support the process outlined in the Medicare for All bill, which ensures universal coverage.”
Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) said yes, explaining:

They would be allowed to buy into my public option. Under current law, hospitals in the U.S. cannot refuse to treat patients who need care. Therefore, our system already pays for health care for undocumented immigrants — usually through emergency rooms, which are the most expensive form of care.
Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) campaign said yes, explaining, “Medicare for All means just that: all. Bernie’s plan would provide coverage to all U.S. residents, regardless of immigration status.”
Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) said yes, explaining, “It is in society’s interest to have everyone be as healthy as possible, and that’s achieved through access to affordable health care for everyone.”
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said yes, explaining that “Health care is a basic human right.”
    Marianne Williamson said yes.
Businessman Andrew Yang said yes, explaining, “I believe in a pathway to citizenship for all undocumented immigrants. Anyone who applied for that pathway would be eligible to buy into the Medicare for All system.”

The ones advocating free health care for illegals is just asinine. But those saying they should have the option to buy insurance aren't that far out there. Right now, as your article indicated, most go to the ER room for treatment, the most expensive option. If they were allowed to BUY health care insurance it would ease the burden on the tax payer. Until you can manage to expunge every illegal from our borders, it makes sense to have them pay their share. Another example is car insurance. Lots of people don't want illegals to have licenses and the ability to buy car insurance. This makes no sense to me in a world where the reality is there are illegals driving in your city or town.

Got my popcorn ready for this 2 day Democratic party debate lined up for next week. Some early thoughts.

The Good - I think Andrew Yang and Tulsi Gabbard likely solidify their loyal followings with a good showing. Again, the Democratic establishment want little to nothing to do with either but in a field this large they will find their little niche to stand out. Both strike me as principled and steadfast/non wishy-washy in their beliefs(does that still count for something in 2019?) Particularly interested in seeing where Yang stands in a few weeks with his Universal Basic Income message. He is a bit of a dark horse, imo.

The Bad - The cheesy empty platitudes of Beto and Booker in a race to achieve ultimate cringe-worthiness.

The Ugly - Anything associated with Bill de Blasio and his bitter, pretentious, played out anti-America rants.

The Forgettable - The John Hick-a-something guy from Colorado who said socialism wasn't the answer a few weeks ago and was practically booed off stage.

Damn I'm good.

First poll has Tulsi Gabbard as the shock winner of the first Democratic debate and Beto O'Rourke as the clear loser

Tulsi Gabbard is the winner of the first Democratic debate in Miami on Wednesday, according to a Drudge Report poll.

The popular news aggregation internet site took a poll of users which asked who won the 10-candidate debate.

Surprisingly, nearly 40 per cent of those who took the survey chose the 38-year-old congresswoman from Hawaii as the runaway winner.

Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts came in second with 12.26 per cent of the vote.

John Delaney, the former congressman from Maryland, was in third place while New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio came in fourth.

House Rep. Tim Ryan, Senator Amy Klobuchar, Governor Jay Inslee, former Housing Secretary Julian Castro, former House Rep. Beto O’Rourke, and Senator Cory Booker rounded out the list.

The Democratic machine will start pulling the knives out on her in short order if she begins to rise. Too much of a wild card and doesn't kiss the right(DNC approved) asses.

BTW, I must say that I got a chuckle when I read through Trump's tweets tonight and one simply said "Boring!"(obviously in reference to the debate in progress)

I have an obligation to keep up with this stuff and provide some insight and content to the forum but I have to admit, I was looking for a noose to hang myself with about 10 minutes in.

You gotta love ole Tom Perez.

In public - " AOC is the future of our party"

Behind closed doors 5 minutes later - "We gotta get this bitch out of here"

His Spanish is awful.  He should stop doing that.  It's embarrassing.

You don't need to speak Spanish, just talk slower and louder.

Yup, Hispanic young men hear that a lot from mature white women.

Donald J. Trump
‏Verified account @realDonaldTrump

All Democrats just raised their hands for giving millions of illegal aliens unlimited healthcare. How about taking care of American Citizens first!? That’s the end of that race!

How fitting is it that the guy who is such a huge proponent of Universal Basic Income shows up to the debate with a more kicked back casual no tie look?

Andrew Yang claims his mic was turned off during debate

Maybe his dog ate the microphone.

Presidential contender Andrew Yang, who barely chimed in during Thursday night’s debate, had an even better excuse — saying his mic was “not on” when he tried to speak.

“There were also a few times, FYI, where I just started talking, be debating like, ‘Hey, I want to add something there,’ and my mic was not on,” Yang told supporters after the Miami debate.

“And it’s this sort of thing where, it’s not like if you started talking, it takes over the [conversation]. It’s like I was talking, but nothing was happening. And it was like, ‘Oh f—.’ So that happened a bit, too,” he added.

An NBC spokesman told the The Post in a statement: “At no point during the debate was any candidate’s microphone turned off or muted.”

Yang, who has run on a platform of giving every American a guaranteed $1,000 a month, had a mere 2 minutes and 58 seconds of speaking time – the least amount of all 20 candidates who took part in two debates, according to The New York Times.

Yang's $1,000/mo idea is the future actually.

After robots take over most jobs it will have to be done.

Most people will think he is crazy though at this time.  They are just not aware of what is happening with automation.

#LetYangSpeak trends on Twitter after Yang accuses NBC of cutting his mic in debate

Calls to #LetYangSpeak began trending on Twitter Friday after presidential hopeful Andrew Yang accused NBC of muting his microphone "a few times" during Thursday night's Democratic primary debate.

Yang, a tech entrepreneur, alleged that his mic was "not on" at times during the debate as he was speaking with supporters Thursday night in Miami.

"There were also a few times, FYI, where I just started talking, being like, 'Hey, I want to add something there,' and my mic was not on," Yang claimed.

The allegation from Yang came after an analysis by The Hill showed the long-shot candidate had the least amount of speaking time of all the 20 candidates who participated in the two nights of debates that took place Wednesday and Thursday.

NBC has denied Yang's claim.

"At no point during the debate was any candidate's microphone turned off or muted," NBC said in a statement to The Hill on Friday.

Twitter users were quick to defend Yang on Friday.

I think he says "excuse me" which you can faintly hear, then he just raises his hand, not sure this proves his mic wasn't on.
