PC, just upgraded to a 2600k@4.5, 16gb ram, gtx 570@ 580 speeds and a 32" 1080p tv\monitor so Id be mad not to  8) Sweet case too  :P

Ok, so I've been on the Beta for a bit... the PC version is beautiful... absolutely gorgeous... Even on an Nvidia 9800GTX it looks beautiful.

I haven't seen the Xbox version yet, but I will play it some time when I get home tonight and inform you guys as to it's visual status tomorrow.

Move over Call of Duty... You're about to get pwn3d.

COD was fun but bad company 2 was far more realistic and battlefield three looks like will mw out of the water cant wait

I've been discussing this elsewhere.  I don't see it.  CoD's got too large of a built in user base at this point.  BF3 isn't going to even put a scratch on it.

I hope you got yourself a SSD. A SSD will give far more performance over anything else.

Just remember at one time, Medal of Honor WAS the FPS to own... now it's 2nd tier and "maybe" in the top 5 as far as FPS franchises go.

I hear you on that.  I guess what I'm saying is that BF3's multiplayer will have to be so far superior that it will attract a rabid anticipation for BF4, and then we'll see.

MW is just a juggernaut right now.  Largest ever in history.  It's going take time to cut into that.

Never take sales as an indicator of a great game.

Battefield is such a better product.

Haven't owned a gaming console in many, many years. My wife and I always LOL at people in their 20's, 30's, 40's and beyond who spend hours of their day playing video games.

No you weren't.

In tu's initial comments he was mentioning the hardware that he was playing bf3 beta on. Everyone knows battlefield 3 is going to be a visual stunner. On top of being a better overall game. That what he was referring to. At least thats what I took from it. But he can correct me if i'm wrong.

My initial discussion was about how it was looking and overall game play.

I have no illusions that COD will of course at sell it by a good majority.

That said, I believe that overall it can chip away at the COD user base eventually, if COD doesn't get their act together and provide something better than MW3 is going to be.

Well its what I was discussing.   It was my response to him saying CoD was going to get pwnd.    I was referring to sales.

I generally don't get into which games are "better" since its a completely subjective medium.

I have been so busy lately I actually just sold my graphics card cause I haven't even fired up my gaming machine in over a month.  lot of great titles coming out soon, so maybe I will get another in a few months once things loosen up a bit.

Yes, it reminds me of a Stormtrooper, not that im a sci fi nerd but Im sick of all the cases that look the same, oh and the BF3 Beta fucking sucks, I hope the full game pulls off some miracles because the Metro map is like a shitter version of Bad Company 2

You're playing a REALLY old build in the Metro map.

I don't think it sucks at all myself, but that's just me. I'm a little biased.
