Maybe his "championships" were won because of who he slept with, but at one point in time I actually looked forward to his ring work, regardless of who he was/is boning.

The prop is part of the character and attitude, it doesn't make or break a persons ability.
You are all missing the point. HHH was already a two time WWE champ in 2000-2001 and making over a mill per year prior to Stephanie McMahon.

I just hope they don't show anymore clips this monday of HBKs farewell speech. Lets move on......

WWE just lost a big star. What I wanna know is what are they gonna do when Batista, HHH, Big show and Undertaker retire. Cena cannot draw alone. That's when people will start tuning in to TNA  ;)

Batista will be the next to go.  Taker will reach 20-0 and then call it a day.  Not sure if HHH will ever have an official retirement, I think he'll take over the McMahon-type character one day.

HHH is in it for life.

Definitely, unless Stephanie catches him banging the Bella Twins.  :P

I wonder how many girls Hunter's bedded since tying the knot.
I guess a lot has to do with how close Steph stays to him on the road.
Presumably, they travel together, but...

Vince screwed around on Linda A LOT!
Most of those guys do.

Even some small-time indy guys rake in a lot of pussy.
Oooh, baby...
Imagine the kind of coochie $40.00/night gets you.
 :o
Hey, honey...
How'd you like to earn ten bucks the hard way?

So, we could then also say that HHH is "in it for life" – until Stephanie catches some hybrid form of STD from him.

I'm willing to bet my money on it. Absolutely. Think about it. Stephanie is in New York at Titan towers. He's touring with the Raw brand in Europe. What do ya think he's doing after the show?  ;)

Then either she has someone watching his ass, and/or she's bouncing on some strange pole back home.

Why would HHH jeapordize his position in wrestling immortality and lifetime security by risk cheating on the boss' daughter?? Even if Vince himself has done it and still doing it, how do you think he'd feel if he knew his son-in-law was fucking around on his only daughter?

no way.

Maybe / maybe not. No one really knows for sure what these guys do on the road.

Wasn't Boy Toy shacking up with Mrs. Bulldog for a while back then?

That was a work.

Although, while Davey was in rehab, Bret caught Diana flirting with Austin backstage at a show.
Davey ended up poking one of Bret's sisters-in-law - I think it was Bruce's wife.

Bret knew ring psychology as well as anyone.
Some guys had a greater repertoire of maneuvers, but Bret knew how to make his mean the most.
In that respect, I rate him right up there with Hennig & Davey.

Mediocrity could be used to describe his mic work.
In fact, it blew so much, he may as well have just stood up there and deep-throated the microphone.
What’s surprising to me is that, despite his lack of oratory, Bret was incredibly charismatic.
Presumably, he accomplished this through his character.
Fans loved him because of who he was and what he did & stood for - not for catch phrases created by writers.

He also had a good look.
Young girls liked him.
He banged a lot of different adult women on the road.
And I think the young males could relate to him more because he didn’t posses the cartoon-ish physique usually reserved for comic book superheroes.
Guys could see a lot of themselves in Bret - except for the long hair and pink tights.
But, they were more like him than they were compared to Hogan or UW.

In Bret's book it was basically stated that he had a GF in every single city in the world. Mind you, that probably goes for the entire WWE roster.

I only bought Bret's book after you convinced me.
It was a great deal better than I thought it would be.

Initially, when i saw the voluminous size of it, I thought it would be the biggest pitty party vehicle ever written.
I was pleasantly surprised.

I never really fancied the NWO in the WWE. It just didn't fit in right. Just my humble opinion.

Especially when he pinned the Bad Guy and became the 123 Kid.
Wasn't that brutal? I hated that.

I miss Yokozuna. From what I have seen and heard he worked phenomenally well with any other performer and he was well liked backstage.

Yes.
It's a shame he didn't take better care of himself.
Bret talks a little bit about Yoko's health problems in his book.

If I remember correctly, Yoko got his weight up to 600lbs and thats when the problems started to happen.

HHH messed it all up. Shawn should have spun around then hit one last double bi pose. Walk away. Then the announcer says, "Shawn Michaels has left the building." Great speech. Helmsley really shouldn't have any part of that though. Sour about it.
Why not? They are best friends in real life.
