I'd guess that 1st in 1996's NABBA North Americans is the rough equivalent to placing 5th in either 1972's or 1981's NPC Nationals.  I think this is essentially Bob's point; likewise, it's the same one Jack's so hesitant to acknowledge.  He's got pics, he just doesn't wanna show them.  Nothing against Jack, really...that's just my take on it.
