Spot on. Up until 2-3 years ago, 99% of the noobs here would get a proper initiation and get torn a new ahole until they proved themselves worthy. Now someone asks gh15 about roids in their first couple of posts with a bunch of cliches (God of hormones, I hate liars, Trenbolona zzzzzzzzzzzz) and the circle jerk commences rightaway and then 10 posts later, they're a Getbigger :-\
They should make gh a mod of the steroids board and move all the threads there. Hell, lifting is at least 50% of the bodybuilding equation, so how would the roiders feel if nearly every damn thread is about how many reps to do for shoulder presses or if dumbells are better when they're round or square? The G&O is at it's all time low entertainment-wise and is just one big drug discussion. I'm bored just thinking about it.

Way way back when, Jimmy, Kiwiol and the "original crew" of GB was around there were little outings. I don't know who the first guy to do it was, but it wasn't a "sport" to do around here until a different wave of fucktards came in and fucked shit up.
It's one thing if someone talks mad crap and never backs it up a la Pumpster. When he was outed not many backed him up, and with good reason. Because they all knew he was/is a liar.
But too many of these guys come on the board, either get outed for some reason or another, and they attempt to get their revenge by posting personal info. It became the in thing to do...and that's when it's wrong.

but the only thing people post on here now is there workouts which isnt exactly exciting reading
we need some new posters to argue with and i dont mean gimmicks
the mods should be tapping up decent posters from other boards and get some fresh perspective

I'm not quite sure how you intended the original question. But I'll answer and say what I've said elsewhere many times regarding my name.
When I was given the name YoungBlood, I was always the youngest kid in bands. I was 14 and 18 years old playing with guys that were 50yrs old because the we'd share a common interest in that genre of music. It was hard getting a date at 15 listening to Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf and Hip Lankchain while all the cute girls in school were listening to Kanye, Brittney Spears or J-Lo. Anyway, I was the young guy in bands and the music I played was/is blues/Soul/R&B. Back in the 60's and that era, it was popular to call the young guy in the band youngblood. Since there was two "official" guys before me in one particular band I played in named youngblood, I used the capitols as YoungBlood to differentiate myself from them and it carried over to when I needed a name for message boards.
In the coming year or two YoungBlood will probably get replaced with OldPlasma though since I'm hardly the new guy on the block as I used to be. Still can be called YoungBuck though as a drunk chick once called me ;D

Raw - 198lbs
Squat - 405
Bench - 300
Dead - 440
Decent, keep at it? Or awful - never go under the bar again....?
very good raw numbers, people always are surprised how strict the judging is at actual meets, they'll red light you at a lot of meets for moving your foot even an inch on the bench press.

There were a few seasoned lifters in this meet and they were grumbling at the strictness of the judging.... squat depth was a big talking point. I was 8/9 on the day so fairly happy from my point of view.
