I normally just train harder
and cut out most of the carbs

If you want to loose as much weight as possible, but still retain muscle, and be able to train, then i would recommend the following.
- 1,000 calories/day consisting of mainly protein and trace fats with green vegetables.
- Every 3rd night, have a carb meal consisting of 300g carbs, preferably with no fats.
- Repeat this till you hit desired goal.
- In regards to training, you either keep your normal weight training schedule, or reduce to MWF. I would add 30-45min steady state cardio 5-6days/wk just for the added calorie burn.
14lbs in 4 weeks is a tall order, but it can be done. Also, drugs help, not sure if you use AAS or not.
