Along with smoking, California has recently removed the privilege
of weight lifting from it's prison population.  The inmates were
getting stronger than the guards (and the governor), becoming
too intimidating and MUCH too difficult to subdue during riots. 
Howze exercise regulated in Nevada prisons?  (Gambling's out,
that's for sure.)

Never heard of a prison Bodybuilding Team, not in Canada anyway. BTW all the Maximum security jails in the Federal system had free weights removed after olympic bars were used as battering rams during a riot.

As to no gambling...gambling is huge in every jail. Guys will bet on all sports, card playing is big money .

Thanks for this bit o' data, Buzz, 'bout Olympic bars doubling as
battering rams.  Can you imagine!!!?  Re gambling; will Vegas ever
start taking bets for jury verdicts of high-profile cases?  They seem
to bet on everything else. 

In which case, I bet that they both get life in prison (federal prison,
if abduction is in the charges and it sticks), with parole for good behavior.
BTW, women's prison has very little gambling.  Although Checkers is
big, only the Asian population shows interest in games-for-profit.

A few questions fo you Ramazon: How long was your sentence at the women's prison?  What brought you in?  Did you play checkers with the asians in prison?  And, is the gambling asian population bigger in Las Vegas?

Don't know about the female joints. Just know that gambling, cards , poker, ball tourneys are all big in the male jails up here.

Of course that works both ways, when the playoffs are on the guards are all watching the game on a confiscated tv, not a lot of "dynamic security" going on.
