Hey guys, I just started doing the behind neck jerk...this is my 2nd workout. Now with 295lbs.[ Invalid YouTube link ]I'm a beginner with this exercise...any advices are welcome!
Yes..don't do them. For a supposed trainer you should know this. You know, too much external rotation, possible cervical impingement. I'm sure you understand

Your technique is fine...but don't do them. Jerks are done from in front not back. See progressions and sequence. Ironic this subject came up in the same day.
i don't know. i do light behind the neck military on the smith..going heavy seems dangerous though. you're look strong on them
I know...but unfortunately I can't do the clean and jerk... I tried many times and I just can't bend my arms like that...
How do you mean bend your arms?
what are you training for then?
I do it for fun. Also tryin to build better balance, explosiveness and maybe some power... It's good for wrestling.
