This happend in Stirling, i was playing snooker with a mate i was about 16 and there was a couple of guys playing for money and one asked us if we wanted a game..i said no, because it was clear they were "at it" . anyway they had an argument about money with a guy who did not want to pay..he pulled a knife out and these two guys just fucking did the guy.. smashed him up bad. we left the hall and the guy never got up again and he was covered in blood. The police arrived and i do not know what happend to the guy. still remember the guy screaming..was quite nasty.

So be careful with snooker cues.  
yes some rough places at that time.. you had to watch out. Remember in Stirling there was an area called the "Raploch" was a bad place. The police did not like to go there ..lol.
