most of us are brown. why you think we dont f##k with converts either in mass numbers? btw...brown skin gets irritated by the sun. it's also hard to sense when a sunburn is coming on. sun tan, excessive expose are not at the top of our lists.

i dont have tinted windows...wish i did...it fucking HATE it when i open the car door in the summers here in DC and a huge pillow like scalding hot air hits your whole body...and then it takes forever to get the AC to cool down your car..esp when u r stuck in traffic....my next car is gonna be slightly tinted..so as to keep it cool..but still not be tacky..

I live in FL.
If your windows aren't tinted, it takes a lot longer to cool it down when it's 96 outside from 8 am on.

what did the nephew have to do this summer?

For those of you who want less heat get some metalized film. I have some very light (43% tint) on the font windows of my truck which blocks 50% of the heat. It really does a great job making the cab cooler. You would have to get into a very dark regular dyed tint to get that much head blocking (if you could even get it at all).
Oh and metalized films won't turn purple because the metal in the film gives it the tint.
