It's not so much his physique that's the problem  as much as it is the idiotic look on his face and that fucking hair! He looks like a god damned wax dummy.

Although the other pic is shopped, the original pic is impressive nonetheless.  Dude had crazy arm genetics and his proportions in 86 were impressive.  He had a unique frame. His muscles looked huge on his frame when standing alone but not in direct comparisons....

I think he was out of bodybuilding from 83 to 86 because of a torn bicep. He got a really good surgeon to reattach it in a way that was different than what was normally done. He said his repaired arm was stronger than before. I think he also claimed  21 inch arms.

That's a deceiving comment. The Cincinnati Reds were the 1st franchise, one city team with (basically) one name. Reds is just shortened Redlegs or Red Stockings.

  actually there's a gray area there. the red stockings started organized ball [not barnstorming] in 1882 but it was the american association. they actually didn't start in the national league till 1890 as the reds. 1954 to 1958 they were called the redlegs because of mccarthism. the phillies started in the national league in 1883 but were originally called the quakers. they became the phillies in 1890. one thing for sure the phillies were the first franchise to lose 10,000 games and held that distinction for a pretty long time.

I remember the Time Tunnel from when I was a kid.It now comes on on the station MEtv at 3 am on Sunday mornings. I have been leaving the television on that channel on Saturday night and almost ever Saturday I wake up and watch it.When I was a kid I didn’t really have a grasp on history so it is more interesting to me now.Some of it is kinda hoaky but I enjoy it

True. The Reds have always been considered the oldest in MLB though and that's why they always played opening day at home. I wish the Phillies went back to their 1980's uniforms. They were unique with the color scheme and not the generic red, white and blue. They should do like the Padres and go back to the past.
