I remember seeing this on TV. The episode is on DVD but this particular one was deleted as with many others...8:41
Correction...the bum video was banned too...at this point i think most of thr In Living Color episodes are banned
That was a great show during a time when sketch comedy hadn't really hit the mark by having a balance that incorporates racially funny/significant material with relevance to everyday people. It married a lot of themes that other shows like Saturday Night Live couldn't, because they were being broadcasted by a network that didn't have the balls to bring racy and likely "insensitive" topics to the forefront.
It was a show that served to spearhead many great careers (Jim Carrey, The Wayans, David Alan Grier, Jennifer Lopez, Jamie Fox, Kim Coles) and even helped to further propel the careers of others like Chris Rock.
What I liked about it is that it would air during late night on Fox and would make for a great way to end the evening with a good laugh. The show was also a good watch among friends to really bring out that laugh factor.
Thanks for sharing Vince. This is a show I used to watch over 30 years ago. I think it helped to make way for others like the Chapelle Show and Key & Peele (I think Key & Peele was probably the funniest out of all the sketch comedy shows).
