I will say after having done a couple deadlifts now Matt can have the deadlift title I am not going to deadlift 550lbs. I do think I can deadlift 405-450lbs

I think I can deadlift 500lbs for 15 reps, I cant, but I think I can.

I think BigRo recently got 551x3 reps on the deadlift, so he has me beat.

There are some other heavy deadlifters on Getbig who did not officially enter the contest:

- On Mark Bell's podcast, tommywishbone said he could hit 585x20 on the deadlift within a month, and can probably get it for 10-11-12 or so at any given time.

I had no reason to doubt Tommy - though that was in 2017, and Tommy's deadlift may have gone down since then.

- Van Bilderass has deadlifted 700, although he didn't want to post the video. Finnish people are notoriously shy...so...could be that.

And I'm sure I'm missing someone.

I have personally gotten 545, 550, and 555...but I decided that in 2024, I'm going to follow what Grape Ape said, and regroup, starting with 185-315 for reps with perfect form. I'll gradually to up from there, and hopefully hit 565.

I don't want to be over 200-lb in the long-term, so I need to be realistic about what my max can be. I do think I can hit 565 at sub-200 body weight. Do I think I can hit 600? No - not unless I'm willing to go up in weight.

600 would be nice, but I need to be realistic - just given my weight, age, etc [short wingspan - helps my bench, but hurts my deadlift].

I'll be happy with 565. Even if i can get 550 more often, I'd be happy. Realistically, I'm probably closer to 525 most days. I want 545 to be my average day, and 565 to be my best day. But like I said - I need to be realistic.

Are there official rankings for Getbig's top deadlifters?

PS - Brian, Walter doesn't look anything close to as good as you. He knows it. He would just post a picture if he was. That said, Walter is just a nasty piece of shit for attacking your wife. Not cool. But he also runs the Jane account and claims she is 6'0" and 134-lb - Walter doesn't grasp that six feet tall women don't weigh 134-lb. Most likely, he doesn't get laid, which is why he has no idea what adult women weigh. LOL @6'0" and 134-lb for a woman.  ;D  An actual woman would realize how stupid that claim is.  :) But...all of Jane's claims are.

We could wager but you welched last time so what is the point? Could I go for 405lbs on Monday and hit it sure or I could use a lot less do reps and work on trying to engage my lats. I am not wasting a workout maxing out for nothing you guys want to see it wager something

My goal is not to have a heavy squat. My goal is to develop my legs and keep my knees working properly. You guys can say they are toothpicks all you want but my legs are all cut up they are clearly trained and developed. They have improved and will continue to do so. I am planning to get a  full rack indoors at my new house which will allow more squats. But the goal is not to squat heavy but to develop and strengthen the legs

It’s incredible, Hankins was able to ignore developing his right calf to maintain his completely lopsided look.

His entire right side, shoulder, chest, arm, leg, and calf is gone. Does anyone know a good symmetry thief lawyer?

If by improve you mean add size that is just not going to happen. It's a pipe dream. There is no way at your age and after 20+ years of lifting weights and taking hormones you will somehow wake up with  bigger legs. They have been as big as they were ever going to get, it's all downhill from here.

Put the pipe down and accept reality.

1) Copy the left bicep put it over the right bicep.
2) Copy the right delt, put it over the left delt.
3) Same with the good pec, put it over the torn pec
4) Copy the right quad, put it over the left quad.
5) Copy the left calf, put it over the right calf.
6) Shrink the head by about 20%
