Since there were apparently 4 back up generators with 2 operating at any one time for redundancy I've been reading it might have been fuel contamination to them.  But if someone shut off the main engines and the fuel pumps to those generators altogether instead that would be data logged by the VDR as an 'engine order' (presumably)

So somebody would just need to nobble the DAU (data feed) to cover their tracks - they don't need to get into the 'black box' itself

It's so funny watching the moronic red hats who have no formal education in design, architecture, engineering, infrastructure, or in general sit on the internet blindly arguing loony excuses with real engineers about a bridge collapsing.

What makes this even funnier for the rest of us, but more pathetic for the red hats, is the engineers are laughing at them and saying "you don't even need us for this one.  Something really big hit something else and it broke."  And the red hats are wiping their tears saying "nooooo it can't just be THAT".
