Sadik Trains Delts 15 Weeks Out Olympia
-
Seems like month by month and year by year competitive bodybuilding has been going to shit. Contest are getting worse and worse. We just had the New York Pro and the way it was set up it looked like an NPC National qualifier from the 1990s in a high school auditorium or something. Not to mention the lineup was pretty fucking week. I remember back in the day the Night of Champions was my favorite show because you had all kinds of freaks show up to do that particular show and it always seem like the hardcore dudes would be there and get some camera time period not this year. I haven't particularly fondled contest closely for the past few years but things seem way too diluted now.
Seems like the only interesting contests are those between the new classes like classic bodybuilding or men's physique or some shit or the 212 classes.. Only bwcause its "new", but I suspect within a couple of years or so it will die out a little bit as well. It seems bodybuilding these days is less about contest placings or rankings or whatever and more about social media type shit getting followers and advertising money. Sorta like what Rich Piana is doing in Boston Lloyd and them. Look at loafers he got more attention from his video blogs and whatnot leading up to the Mr Olympia that he did from the actual contest and the same will probably be true for a flex wheeler he'll get way more attention for his progress leading up to the show on social media then he will from the show itself which she will probably bomb.

Haha! Dude - I know you voice-to-text, but that still made me chuckle... ;D
And who is 'loafers'?.... :D

pro shows are the shits now days i dont even watch or follow them. i know very few of the names. plus they are almost all dindus. all the builds all look alike. same structures cuz they all are using the same stuff and training the same way. nothing interesting. back in the day they all looked different. you could tell who they were if you hid their head. now they all look the same. bloated pregnant guys in tiny thongs. bodybuilding needs to go back to its roots. back to when the best guys won. not the freakiest or biggest or blackest.

ESFITNESS, Getting back got your original statement under this topic .... I gotta say, "That's progress! As the world turns things change."
And progress or changes to things that we have gotten used to.... is/are never appreciated by most people unless it benefits them personally in one way or another.
Some people fight progress, others adapt, while others fall by the wayside and are never seen nor heard from again.
But those who make those changes ... benefit immensely!
That's progress!

I do. I'll train at my gym once maybe twice a week if that. I get disrupted and too distracted at my own gym. I'm there 10-12 hrs a day. I need to get away.

Anyone care to make an uneducated guess as to how IRMA will affect the Olympia lineups this coming week?
Include competitors as well as officials.
-
I am not able to attend the Mr Olympia, but just got curious about tickets. So I checked. There are plenty seats available, although they are all in the balcony sections. The cheapest price is $146.79. The higher priced are $225.69.
-
I think Brandon Curry will take a big leap forward.
-
REPS, I visited the Orleans Showroom ticket office about a week ago and the Oly evening finals high was about $320 and the low was $92.
I think that the ticket prices are changed daily based on supply and demand .
The Amateur event which starts on Thursday at 9 AM was around $77 for 7th row seats with a bit cheaper seats toward the rear.
Orleans showroom is pretty damn small so I think that the Amateur event will be a complete sellout early Thursday morn.
But I could be completely wrong due to the fact that the major Olympia fans will be arriving here in LV late Thursday afternoon and it's possible that most fans will not pay the extra nite's fee PLUS SOME STUPID RESORT FEE in the Orleans for Wednesday night just to get up to see the Amateur event early Thursday morning.
Anyone have any idea about who the amateur contenders will be?

There's a lag in the audio in the livestream for the finals show. It's kind of like when I used to watch TV while drunk and I guess my brain didn't process the audio as quickly as the video.

Ramy's got it.

Gotta say, I'm not really a fan of the bikini girls' asses. There's nothing down there to grab. :(
