I don't know.  There was another wrestling game around in the past (maybe a few years before??) that was pretty  much a rip off of WWF characters.  They had a giant mountain type like Andre, a Snuka type in lion clothe that did high flying moves, a power muscle type, etc...   you wrestled in tag teams for like 5 matches before reaching the last match that was for the championship.  I think the 4th match along the way (sometimes randomly) was a steel cage match.  You could throw the opponent into the ropes but they would bounce off the cage instead.

Wish I could remember the name of it.

I remember a ton of quarters being spent on Street Fighter 2, Wrestlefest and Run N Gun basketball in my youth.

No question the best wrestling arcade game ever.

Mat Mania was also pretty good for the arcade back in the day.

I have a modded Xbox..
I have all the classic arcade game and others from the good old days of arcades.. before the home systems came out.
I remember spending my $1 allowance playing wrestlefest at my local 7-11 store. Also love playing wwf superstars... good memories...

Great memory back in simpler times.
