OK you got me.   :)   It's a pretty nice place.  I've been there for the NFL combines and to watch The Little 500 a few times.  Good town indeed. I know the Little 500 is in Bloomington but I was in Indy too.

When I was a kid we went to an agriculture expo where all we walked through aisle after aisle of all these filthy farm animals. I imagine this black expo must be the same thing except all of the animals are freely walking around the place.

In a nutshell it is a 10 day expo that is held in Indianapolis every year to celebrate black history. 10+ years ago it was really good for the city. Make Indy a lot of money. Then the thugs drove in to stir shit. Now rival gangs meet to outside the expo to shoot whoever they feel need it. For the last 8-10 years people of the city have begged to have it moved somewhere else. Even the downtown business owners. The city's budget is deeply affected because of the need for a cop every 10 feet 24/7.
It is no longer a celebration of pride, it is an opportunity for people to fuck up a normally safe, clean city and then just leave it in shambles.

If you had a concealed carry permit for a gun in a holster and a 6'2" guy punched you then took you down to the mounted position reigning down blows on you would you shoot if you couldn't get out? Knowing if he found the gun now both of you  have a gun. Would you just take having your head smashed into the concrete?

He was wrong for acting like a cop questioning him when he was just a civilian with a gun. Make no mistake though. If any of you had a gun and a stranger  tackled you punching; you would eventually pull the trigger.

When Texas first had concealed carry for civilians the first shooting was a guy involved in a fender bender car accident. They argued and the guy without a gun punched the gun holder one time. He fired and killed him. He got off. That guy should have been in jail for at the least manslaughter. Two white guys by the way.
