I don't know how rich he is, I know a couple of guys who run their own broker/dealer firms in the city and the guys clock 80+ hours a week and are fairlystressed at times and one of them barely take much time off a quick weekend here and ther ewith his fiance and baby.
Another friend I have my age I would say he is a multi-millionaire net worth wise owns a night club, a couple of bars, car dealership and properties...etc he cancelled a pre-paid boys weekend break with us last year, then turned up last minute on Saturday night and flew back out Monday morning, takes a lot of time to oversee and build such wealth unless you land in it or scam people.
Bar the odd fluke i.e. flappy bird app maker and a one off wonder trick...etc.

I was living in Manchester earning a middle management salary with a small mortgage a 3 series in my drive way, always finsihed work on time and had lots of time to relax and train, moved down to London pursuing my career, I earn about 3 times more than I did, infact my bonus is higher than my basic salary in Manchester, yet I can say that I hardly see day light, when I train after work, I basically leave my house at 7am and I walk back in at 10pm...this is my 5 day routine :/
Sometimes I do wonder if it's worth it. But luckily I enjoy my job and work doesn't phase me, might change in future will see.

You gotta keep in mind that the state of California is bigger than the entire UK.
There are a lot of bedroom communities. Places that are within a very reasonable commute to large areas. Take for instance the city of Corona.
A relatively large city, I would say a population exceeding 100000. You can pick up a very nice 5 bedroom house in a good area for under 500k easily.
Or you can spend the 800k and get a legit mansion.

Its very cool. Its actually with the mlbpa and the agents. We are taking their current 10 databases that manage players, roster transactions, stats, benefits, grievances, etc.. Aggregating Onto a single platform. From there we have a portal which sits on top which agents can access bits and pieces when negotiating contracts for their players. The agents pay a monthly subscription (or will) for the service. Deployed something similar for the nflpa, nhlpa, so it was a logical fit.

The PA does. And recoups on the subscriptions over time. Their primary concern is service the players. And running too many databases access even excel is way too labor intensive and opens them up for risk and mistakes.
I actually have someone from the nflpa flying in as my right hand man for any pre-sales work. He does everything and is very credible as their business is same, I am just there to pick up the tab for our del friscos bill. The development costs are half what they would be starting from scratch. Still a ton of consulting hours with process reengineering and development involved.

hahahha that is brutal!! we were looking in the beaches area. I put an offer (conditional) in on one spot which we loved. Conditional upon inspection, well it came back that they had freaking termites!! Which is a very common thing in Toronto for homes.
I settled for another a condo. It's a beautiful pad the view is amazing, but it's still no house. I miss having a big house.

I don't know how rich he is, I know a couple of guys who run their own broker/dealer firms in the city and the guys clock 80+ hours a week and are fairlystressed at times and one of them barely take much time off a quick weekend here and ther ewith his fiance and baby.
