I thought he looked his best in Rambo lV. When that stick fighting scene opens up with him tying his headband on (which was a pretense for a double bicep), it was a "Damn!" moment for me. I believe he was in his mid forties at that time.

Agreed.  Rambo III was his best.  The opening scene was awesome.

Front lat spread is tough. You need both size and leaness to pull it off. If you're big, it's the stomach flab and man titties that will be apparent, if you're lean, it's the lack of upper arm mass, and chest/lat issues
