Update: he placed 6th in a very competitive field so we are happy. We'll let you judge for yourselves wether he should've placed higher but I was very happy with his shape and how professional he presented himself. Will have comparison shots later. He was also chosen for the doping test oh well

Got to bear in mind it's his first cycle, so to get him to have mass and be shredded was always gonna be impossible task in the time frame and kinda irresponsible in my opinion.
Guys normally don't think about competing in a show for several years never mind on first cycle. It's just dum.
Even Boston Lloyd who went nuts did it over at least one year, and look at him now, total circus freak show.
So long as he is happy and healthy that's all the matters but I wouldn't have even let him think about competing in a show for long ass time.
And if I did I would have put him in physique category first not bodybuilding.
I hope he is ok psychologically after he comes off everything and the dust settles and doesn't turn either to a fuck head or depressed as fuck wanting to off himself.

Haven't talked to Sev about this yet but months could mean 2. Lots of guys will take a few weeks off after a very long precontest regimen. Radu has been dieting long before I took over his diet and needs a break.
I'm guessing he competed because he had a strong desire to. Nothing wrong with that IMO. The health comment is irrelevant to this discussion.
I got involved because Sev asked me too. I've always gotten along with Sev. There's the Getbig persona then real life. He really wanted Radu to do good and took great interest in his training.
I didn't get involved for props or recognition. I don't have much of an ego. I never expected Radu to put on any muscle. I don't train people anymore so I didn't do it more clients. For the record not that there is one but I never charged Sev anything. He offered at least 5 times though.
The amount of stuff he took was about half of what everyone was claiming. I'm not going to list it since as far as I'm concerned that's private. Other than that he took no diuretics fat burners or GH.
And lastly I knew prob around half way through or so that this show was a tested show. I wasn't "hired" to have him beat a drug test and my help mainly pertained to diet but as far as being "ashamed" I don't care fuck all about someone using while entering a drug tested show. There are random drug tests at bb competitions in Europe countries,he was unlucky. It will be really fucked up when he tests positive,organisation that tested will be shocked when they see "positive" and pictures of guy. :-\

As i said, sev put him on a pedestal and talked a lot of shit amd set him up to fail, he couldnt possibly become the physical specimine he said he would in his posts in that short of time, and thats why people are tearing him up.
He really tried to make this guy seem like be was going to smash everyone and everyone here was an idiot for questioning him or radus elitism, etc etc.
Lots of lofty goals. Reality is the guy got shredded for a 1st timer but hes not anywhere near what he tried to hype him up to be, and lots of guys called it.
I think had he just said that was helping a friend to enter his 1st comp and their goal was just to get him shredded and get some experience, everyone would have handled it much different.

Sev suffers from a mental illness and also has visions of grandeur, paired with an average IQ, and a love of the google search function.
I could joke around now and say "if Sev came out of the closet he would probably feel 100% better, joyous and happy for once", but I don't know what the deal is with this guy. He has a serious cognitive issue. I can examine this deeply, as I have just touched the surface, but I could also pull back and look at his behavior from a simpleton's perspective and note that he is a grown man who is following his ex (wife?) and her fiancee (or whatever they are) around, and has a history of control issues that are meshed in with an obsession with the male physique and male sexuality.

There are random drug tests at bb competitions in Europe countries,he was unlucky. It will be really fucked up when he tests positive,organisation that tested will be shocked when they see "positive" and pictures of guy. :-\
The reality is, best cycle is the first one, if everything is done properly, so he flushed that down the toilet already.
After that, increasing dose slowly or adding another drug will give some decent gains, and eventually the side effects overwhelmingly take over with piss poor response per mg.
This is simply average genetics, average response, typical case of what happens when newcomers come in ith guns blazing, the fucking ididots haha.

Update: he placed 6th in a very competitive field so we are happy. We'll let you judge for yourselves wether he should've placed higher but I was very happy with his shape and how professional he presented himself. Will have comparison shots later. He was also chosen for the doping test oh well

Isn't 260+ kinda hard to maintain at your age? Not poking just curious if this amount of mass has any positive or negative effect in your 40's. I think it's much more a case by case basis than people think. Some have the metabolism to do so, some just start accumulating toxins and have their lipid panels go out of whack. Not to mention insulin resistance resulting from such a flow a nutrience....

Ok why not. Lol Actually it's not hard to maintain at all. Even at my age now I find it pretty easy to grow it's just muscle memory really. This is a picture of me last December at 285. To be honest at this point I'd like to get down to around 230 to 240. I actually feel really good but at my age just too much weight to carry. Thanks btw appreciate the kind words.

The pictures are deceiving, Groink out masses Simon massively in real life even if he was in competition shape (which is not important for him)
I have seen it a million times when comparing photos to real life.
If you look at Rob Ritche's for example in photos he looks huge because of his condition.
But if you see him in real life (he used to train in my gym was a PT and did bit of mma) he is a quite the midget.
5ft 10, about 180lb but looks way bigger, its an illusion.
To illustrate the point compare this photo of him with video.
All I am saying is that all these picture comparison shots are 100% nonsense and deceiving because they can't possibly be to scale or reflect someones true size in real life.
The only comparison that's relevant is two guys standing up next to each other in real life.
And in that comparison like for like Simon would be dwarfed by Groink, despite the fact he still has an excellent physique nonetheless, just not as big as Groink who has exceptional genetics.

Let's not kid ourselves Simon, your physique has improved quite a bit in the last 6 months (and yes I do take notes on it) and I commend you for it.
The reason IS as you very well know, the FACT that you started taking GH recently, which I actually advised you to do along time ago.
You denied this to me here previously many times and if I was to give you the benefit of the doubt back then there is absolutely no question in my mind that you are on GH now.
You posted a picture of some GH brand on the steroid board a few months back asking questions and I can read between the lines of these regular Egypt trips my good friend. Some of us are not that stupid.
So you took my advice and saw the benefits, if you listened more to me about other matters you would improve just as much as a person.
But again just to be clear like for like, same compounds, doses etc, Groink would blow you out the water with his genetics (which he more or less does anyway without those aids in real life comparison) without even trying while you bust ass daily and diet hard.
I have told you many times before you are too light at 200lb, you need to add at least another 20lb of muscle to start really looking impressive my friend and being on Groink level, maybe more like 30lb etc.
Try listening for once to what is in your best interest. We are all trying to help you become better as a person and improve your physique.
Your ego doesn't do you any favors and this is just the truth of it that everyone can see.

Update: he placed 6th in a very competitive field so we are happy. We'll let you judge for yourselves wether he should've placed higher but I was very happy with his shape and how professional he presented himself. Will have comparison shots later. He was also chosen for the doping test oh well
