i remastered this classic movie to make it more high-definition, and fortunately, i think the results are good...and this movie was released in 1983 after shooting in 1982, and it is really childish and terribly boring, but i think Lou's muscular body is the best ever.if Lou had competed in the 1982 Mr. Olympia after filming this movie, i think he could have beat Chris to win ;)

At that point, I don't think he cared. Ferrigno was making bank, doing movies after a successful stint at the Incredible Hulk (the role which  caused him to stop competing in the 70s).

Besides, to the average Joe, being Mr. Universe (which Ferrigno did twice, at least the IFBB's version of that title) is more prestigious.

Even to this day, Arnold Schwarzenegger is referenced more as Mr. Universe than he is as Mr. Olympia.

There's a Domincan saying : " He was born with bread under his arm" meaning  that " someone was destined to be in the good side of the street no matter what (LUCKY)  " ...


So, It finally happened; I  met Lou Ferrigno himself last night !!  ,  He was heading to his hotel room after a weekend of Comiccon cash ".... believe it or not , he was alone so I approached the guy , I could sense he didn't want to be bothered , but fuck it , I even started this amazing  thread about him , perhaps the biggest on the internet  lol  plus,   who knows how much longer he'll be around ......

So I shook his hand and said : "nice to meet you , I'm a big fan of your work ....  As he just replied :


"IT'S 40.00 DOLLARS FOR ONE PHOTO"  ...   I said no thanks" , and walked away ....



Now," The bread under  arm " saying fits him perfectly , cant think of any other guy that over 40 years have been a douchebag to fans non stop  ...

And yet he is somewhat relevant considering the Hulk tv series ended in 1982...... Not just that but,  every time he is mentioned on radio or local tv is "how nice and humble Big Louie is "

In all fairness though, Lou is awesome and has a heart of gold, but I think he's a bit slow. In his mind he dgaf if he comes across as rude or greedy, he just wants more money
