Still in the hospital. Covid Bon-respiratory symptoms are getting better. Body aches, fever, and migraines are starting to get less excruciating day by day.

A few days ago I did start to experience respiratory issues. I was put on oxygen (no breathing tube) and meds. The meds seem to be working and they have lowered the level of oxygen that I am on. I will be on these meds for at least another 11 days. The doctors did actually smile during my last chest films, they don’t normally give you a hint either way, so I’ll take it!

The scary: I am in acute kidney failure, so my INR stabilization is an issue right now. As you may know, I received a kidney transplant over a decade ago.

I am in that rare case of people that are immunocompromised, while also taking immunosuppressant drugs for my kidney. So, even though I’m fully vaccinated, I hit that sweet spot that put me in danger for this virus. Covid really is he worst thing that I’ve ever gone through.

Hard to feel sorry for him but I do. He did it to himself. I wonder if his kidneys filtering out that oil out of his body fried them? You can eat vegetable oil but who thought it was a good idea to inject it into a muscle where it no doubt will end up in your blood stream. To think he was given another kidney and that one is ruined.

Kidney has taken a beating and function is declining.

I'm pretty much always in a good mood, enjoy life and always laughing.
I know depression and things like that are big time issues but it's hard for me to understand.
When friends or family are going through those things I say to myself "Just get over it and get on with yourself" but I now know it's not that easy.
it seems to happen every few months, i feel a sharp pain when pissing and then there is bright red blood (as opposed to dark) all over the toilet. the first time it happened i actually broke down and started crying because i was thinking it's cancer or failed kidneys. i never actually had it checked out so i dont really know what are my odds here. i speculated in my mind maybe it's "kidney stones" because of the painfulness. but maybe even that is also a very bad sign for the kidneys. it happened not long ago again but i am now desensitized to it more or less so i just cleaned up the blood and pretended nothing happened

"Listen to your body! This pic was taken July 7th. The next day I started feeling fatigued & losing my appetite. I wanted to be in shape for vacation so rather than backing off I continued to train hard. On the 15th I went to the ER & was admitted for Rhabdo. My CK was 7952. I spent a day & a half in the hospital b4 discharging myself AMA. By pushing I ended up losing over a week & looking worse on vacation. Would have been better off going to the hospital immediately to resolve it. So don’t be stubborn & refuse to back off when necessary"
