Celebrated BLM activist arrested for attempted murder of Louisville mayoral candidate

A Black Lives Matter activist and black nationalist named Quintez Brown, who was championed by both former President Barack Obama and MSNBC leftist anchor Joy Reid, allegedly attempted to assassinate Craig Greenberg, who is a Democratic mayoral candidate in Louisville, Kentucky on Monday.

Greenberg was holding a brief meeting with four members of his campaign team on Monday morning when Brown allegedly appeared in the doorway to his office, aimed a gun at him, and opened fire. No one was injured “despite one bullet coming so close that it grazed my sweater and my shirt,” the candidate recounted.

One of his staffers was quick to slam the door shut and then they used tables and desks to barricade themselves in the office until the shooter fled the scene.

“We asked if we could help him. And he pulled out a gun, aimed it directly at me, and opened fire,” Greenberg told CNN’s John Berman on “New Day.”

“I was fortunate that one of my brave teammates slammed the door shut. They were able to throw some desks on top of the door and the suspect fled. So, we are very blessed to be here today. All of us on the team are,” he emotionally stated, saying he was just glad to go home and hug his two boys.

Man who issued death threats to Pelosi, AOC sentenced to 18 months in prison

A Florida man was sentenced to 18 months in prison on Friday for making death threats against Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.).

Paul Vernon Hoeffer was also sentenced to three years of supervised release. He had pleaded guilty to interstate transmission of threats to injure.

Hoeffer called Pelosi’s office in March of 2019 and Ocasio-Cortez’s office in November 2020, threatening to kill them both, authorities said.

He also called and threatened to kill Chicago District Attorney Kim Foxx (D).

Hoeffer’s lawyer, Michael Ohle, told The Hill he is disappointed in the sentence and said the judge used his client as a deterrent for other offenders.

He said he argued for a lower sentencing as Hoeffer is battling cancer and incarceration will impact his abilities to communicate with his doctors.

Hoeffer faced up to 15 years in federal prison for his crimes as he said in the calls he wanted to form a “civilian army” for “all-out war.”

The sentencing come as threats against lawmakers have spiked in recent years, reaching 9,600 in 2021, according to Capitol Police Chief J. Thomas Manger.

Florida man pleads guilty to threatening Rep. Ilhan Omar

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — A Florida man pleaded guilty Tuesday to threatening U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar nearly three years ago.

David Hannon, 67, of Sarasota, pleaded guilty in Tampa federal court to one count of threatening a federal official, according to court records. The charge carries a penalty of up to 10 years in prison. A sentencing date wasn’t immediately set.

“No one should fear violence because of who they are or what they believe,” U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida Roger Handberg said in a statement. “Unlawful threats against our elected officials are an assault against our democracy, and we will continue to work with our law enforcement partners to seek justice in these cases.”

According to prosecutors, Hannon sent an email to Omar threatening to kill her in July 2019 following a televised news conference held by the Minnesota representative and three other congresswomen.

In an email with the subject line “(You’re) dead, you radical Muslim,” Hannon referred to Omar and the other congresswomen of color as “radical rats” and asked Omar if she was prepared “to die for Islam.” Investigators said the email further stated that Hannon was going to shoot Omar in the head.

Omar is one of only a handful of Muslim members of Congress.

Just watched clips of her testimony

Apparently she has a awful memory because she can't recall anything she was doing or saying on January 6th or the days leading up to it

Luckily for us she laid down a nice trail of videos, tweets, interviews, etc... which will help refresh her terrible memory

Of course she likely remembers every single bit of it but that would require her to either admit her involvement or lie under oath

This will be used against THE TRAITOR as well and he has claimed to have one of the world "great memories" so I'm sure he won't play the old "I do not recall routine"

Certainly he won't invoke the fifth like his son Eric did when speaking with the January 6 committee which THE TRAITOR said is disgraceful

New York man pleads guilty to threatening to kill Senator Raphael Warnock

Washington — A New York man pleaded guilty Monday to posting threatening statements online about killing Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock of Georgia around the time of the assault on the U.S. Capitol on January 6.

The Justice Department said Eduard Florea, 41, of Queens, also pleaded guilty to one count of possessing ammunition after having been convicted of a felony. Federal law enforcement officers found more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition during a search of his home on January 12, according to court filings.

Man Who Threatened Federal Judge Sentenced to 18 Months in Prison

A man who threatened a federal judge presiding over prosecution of a Trump national security adviser was sentenced in Washington, D.C. Monday to 18 months in prison.

Frank J. Caporusso, a 53-year-old electronic parts salesman, had pleaded guilty to threatening U.S. District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan in a voice message left on his phone at U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

“We are trained military people. We will be on rooftops. You will not be safe. A hot piece of lead will cut through your skull,” said the May 2020 message that was played in court.

It also said, “We’ll start cutting down your staff. This is not a threat. This is a promise.”
At the time, Sullivan oversaw the trial of former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn, who resigned after 22 days amid reports that he lied about his conversations with the Russian ambassador. The Russians were accused of trying to influence the 2016 presidential election in favor of Donald Trump.

In 2017, Flynn agreed in a plea bargain to plead guilty to “willfully and knowingly” making false statements to the FBI. The charges against him later were dismissed and Trump pardoned him.

Nevertheless, the case inflamed resentment by Trump’s supporters, one of whom was Caporusso.

At his sentencing, U.S. District Judge Trevor N. McFadden said Caporusso “intended to subvert the criminal justice system by intimidating [Sullivan] against continuing to preside over a high-profile case.”

“It was nothing less than an attack on our system of government,” McFadden said. “[Sullivan] is a patriot. He did not deserve this, and he certainly does not deserve to live in fear because of your actions.”

Caporusso expressed remorse for his threat and explained that he was intoxicated. He pleaded guilty to one count of influencing, impeding or retaliating against a federal official.

The case is U.S. v. Caporusso, case number 1:20-cr-00171, in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

But according to shitbag Nadler and others, Antifa is a "myth".

San Diego Antifa man has useful girlfriend in public defender’s office

An Antifa member in San Diego who was charged with multiple felonies, allegedly has a close relationship with an investigator for the San Diego Public Defender Office. And together they may have obtained privileged information with which to intimidate victims and witnesses, according to a prosecutor in explosive court filings uncovered this week.

“I am also aware that Jesse Cannon is or was romantically involved with Leah Madbak who works as an investigator for the San Diego Public Defender Office,” wrote San Diego County deputy district attorney Will Hopkins. His three-page declaration requesting a protective order regulating the release of discovery was originally filed in December 2021.

Prosecutor Hopkins cites the “very real threat to the safety of the witnesses, investigating officers, and victims in this case should the Defendants be allowed to have carte blanche access to do whatever they wish with the discovery materials from this case.”

Judge Eugenia Eyherabide granted the request in whole.

The San Diego Public Defender’s office confirmed that Leah Rose Madbak, 29, is currently an investigator in their office but declined to comment further, saying it was an “H.R. matter” before hanging up the phone.

Madbak’s alleged boyfriend, Jesse Merel Cannon, was among 11 alleged Antifa members charged in December 2021 after supporters of Donald Trump and random beach revelers were assaulted on Pacific Beach in early 2021. The case is the first time alleged Antifa members belonging to different cells have been hit with conspiracy charges in the U.S.

According to the declaration from the deputy district attorney, his office’s investigation found “gigabytes of data that the Antifa cells or ‘affinity groups,’ to which the defendants belong,” collected on their targets, which include victims, witnesses, police officers, elected officials and “even their own members who have fallen out of favor.”

The evidence discovered through search warrants includes addresses, license plates and surveillance photos of targets and their families. Two days after the first batch of defendants were arraigned on Dec. 6, 2021, Antifa began trying to intimidate victims and witnesses, according to the district attorney’s office. “I know recently social media accounts associated with several of the defendants posted pictures of people they believed to be the victims in this case…in an apparent attempt to intimidate or dissuade them from testifying,” the prosecutor declared.

Hopkins wrote that one public official targeted by an Antifa defendant was the victim of violence outside his home, and there was another victim in this case who was intimidated in order to dissuade them from cooperating in the investigation.

Leah Madbak, the investigator in the San Diego Public Defender Office, is accused in the declaration of having “administrative privileges for several Antifa based social media accounts.” Hopkins alleges she and her boyfriend, defendant Cannon, “have posted police reports and intentionally disseminated potentially harmful information in an attempt to dox their targets.” Those Antifa social media accounts were listed as SDagainstFash, SDreportingcollective, SNAIL Cru and RABID.

Feds seek dramatically reduced sentence for NYC 'Molotov cocktail lawyers' in 2020 attack on NYPD vehicle

New York City federal prosecutors are seeking a dramatically reduced sentence of about two years for two Brooklyn lawyers accused of firebombing an NYPD vehicle during riots that erupted after George Floyd’s death in May 2020 as part of a new plea deal disclosed in court documents Tuesday.

In a letter filed Tuesday, prosecutors for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York said Colinford Mattis and Urooj Rahman, both attorneys from Brooklyn, agreed to plead guilty to conspiracy to commit arson. Under the deal, prosecutors agreed to recommend an 18- to 24-month sentence, but a judge could still impose the maximum sentence of five years behind bars.

That’s down from the government’s previous plan to see a 10-year sentence with terrorism enhancement, discussed in an October 2021 Brooklyn federal court hearing during which Mattis and Rahman each previously pleaded guilty to one count of possessing and making a destructive device.

The original indictment included a 40-year mandatory minimum count and Mattis and Rahman risked a punishment of life imprisonment, according to N.Y. Daily News. The duo spent weeks in jail following their initial arrest on May 30, 2020, but have been on home confinement for most of the past two years.

“The mere advocacy of political or social positions, political activism, use of strong rhetoric, or generalized philosophic embrace of violent tactics does not constitute domestic violent extremism or illegal activity and is constitutionally protected,” the memo adds, according to Axios.

Funny how this only seems to apply to some groups but not others.
