Yankees have been in free fall. Just got swept for the first time this year by the Reds.

They are awful right now.
Two elite hitters and a bunch of meh.
Which could be fine if the "meh" guys played to that, and not below it.
Pitching was due for an adjustment, there's no way that was going to continue.
Need and impact bat (infielder), bullpen arm, possibly a starter.

They could make a few trades next month for an upgrade.
