Post by: Eyeball Chambers on February 16, 2009, 01:43:54 PM
Haven't had one forever but damn they're fucking delicious.  Better than any stadium hot dog!

I have been eating those a lot lately, not from Costco though.  I have been getting Boar`s Head.  It is the perfect thing to eat when getting ripped.

That is one impressive beer and cheese section they have!  :o

I used to live and grew up in Perry, Ohio.  That place was really advanced due to having a nearby Nuclear Powerplant.  I remember electricity was free, the schools had indoor swimming pools and all state of the art equipment.

When I moved, I found that I was about 2 years ahead in school.

Very nice, I'm from one of the most backward cities in Ohio and possibly the entire Midwest.  ;D

The town has or had about 1200 people and they got the same people who built Shea Stadium and some of the other Pro Stadiums to build a sport complex for the high school.

It was crazy how much money flowed through that little Socialist Haven.  8)

Family business was located in NC, the Furniture Capital of the World.  My grandfather owned Universal Furniture, the World`s Largest Television and Record Cabinet brand.  It is obviously sold now to China as nearly all American Furniture is.

Interesting, it's sad the way peoples homes are furnished today.

Full of particle board and plastic.  :P

I know it.  You are actually better off building your own furniture with Pine and Cedar from Lowe`s or Home Depot and then staining it.  You will pay about 50 dollars for something that would cost around 1500 when its all done, whilst the garbage at the stores is cardboard and about 500 dollars.

I'm actually getting into carpentry.

I built a custom bed w/ headboard.

Was thinking about doing Kitchen Cabinets next.

Clearly you were a lurker and or didin't visit for a couple years after joining like me, because you been doing more than 3.96 posts lately.

And when you said you are going to workout you did mean getting up from your computer chair and doing 5 minutes of calisthetics right?

Can you tell me why every furniture business seems to have a going out of business sale, which is then repeated in 6 months under a different name.  Is this how the business model operates?

Those are just silly stores who buy market samples or scratch and dents for the most part.  Think of them like Used Car Dealers rather than the actual authorized Dealer.

As a minimalist myself I like that bed except for the headboard that is split in two.

Its designed so you can sit up and read if you will...Its curved nicely for your back to fit...It slides up and down to fit your height...

Yes that sounds functional but it looks like it would make it difficult to make my move for round two on whatever skanky ho I have in bed with me.
