they look about the same size there but latly Ron looks bigger

I'm probably in the minority, but I think Ruhl looks terrible. Too blocky. His gut his huge. Really stands out when does back double biceps. Overall, he's just huge and wide. Not really aesthetic at all.

well perhaps that "came out" wrong...I think he is awesome...he is a monster...it is his facial expressions while flexing that I find funny.

Rhul is probably on par with Coleman size-for-size Rhul is 5'8" and weighs 280lbs and Coleman is 5'11" and weighs what 300lbs in that contest , so with a 3" inch height advanatges that basically renders the extra 20lbs moot .

I didn't know he was that short.I thought he was like 5'11. To me he looks bigger than coleman overall...just a little too blocky,but enormous none the less.

Check out Ronnies back in the rear double bicep- check out his hammies/and glutes compared to ruhl. Ronnie is more refined, and slightly bigger than ruhl. Ruhl does give Ronnie a run for his money in the mass department..but we all know on stage its the quality mass that wins.

Coleman owns him in every pose! Im a bigger fan of Ruhl than Coleman but there is no comparison in terms of size and sym! Cormier does look out of place with those two monsters! :o

Those pics show why nobody in history can match Ronnie for size and shape. He truly is in a class by himself. Ruhl would dwarf Dorian or Haney. Ronnie is bigger and harder with better shape. Only guy on the horizon with the genetics to potentially match up well is Martinez and possibly Cutler if his back gets harder. Overall, though, it is a moot point about who will win the Mr. Olympia every year.

Cormier looks better then both in those pics (way more detail and just straight up better aesthetics) and got 2nd. Ruhl got 5th in that show anyway, pics from the 04 olympia would be better.

Ronnie is signifinatly leaner + fuller on most bodyparts + clean of synthol abuse = quite alot more lean muscle on him.
In back thickness alone Coleman got like twice the muscle mass on Ruhl,and the back is a huge muscle thats lots of mass and weight.
BTW Ruhl synthol abuse including the back is obvious and disgusting,in some shots you can actualy see the lumps in the upper part of his lats.So sadly he dosent deserve much credit for improving his back size wise.
All that being sad, Ruhl is a beast and a damn good BB. RUUUHHLL :D

C'mon You have got to be kidding. These are supposed to be the best in the world. Does Ruhl even diet for a show !! Super soft and fat is what i see. He looks like complete shit. I'm looking at each picture and reading all the positive comments about him, and i cannot believe what im reading. Your average NPC competitor has better conditioning.
And that's not overstating It. Ron detroys him !!! What are you people looking at. Sure he maybe the same size ( weight wise ) which is what this thread is about. 285 lbs of blubber and synthol is not as impressive as 285 lbs of hard ripped muscle regardless of who has better abs. Look at ruhl from the back. Are you telling me that's what 16 weeks of dieting accomplished for him. What a joke !!! And I like Ruhl. Just not a fan of his physique. Mark my words. Ruhl will never do any better than he has.

look how much bigger Ronnie's thighs are compared to Ruhl's. Unreal, In some of those shots they look to be as big around as Chris's waist, easily :o

Why do people still compare Coleman with Cormier? Cormier is softer, smoother, and only has 85% of Ronnie's size at the same height, and Ronnie has about 95% of Cormier's genetic structure / proportions, even while being so much bigger and more shredded.
To me there is no comparison
correction: Ronnie's quads alone have about 85% of Chris' size

Well that's cause your an idiot, first off this show was like 1-2 weeks after the olympia, cormier and ruhl were already eating offseason (cormier french fries through the whole grand prix tour and ruhl a protein bar during the posedown) while ronnie was still tightening up from the olympia (many thought he looked better then at the O). Finally cormier will always have better back detail and have the more pleasing and aesthetic yet large (250+lbs) physique :)

Cormier may have had better back detail than Ronnie at 301 pounds, but throughout most of his career, he got owned in that deparment from big ron

i would say coleman and ruhl look the same size...coleman dwarfs him in legs and a bit for detailed than ruhl..more or less they r of the same size..considering mass ruhl comes closest to coleman in matching in size....and overall detail wise also..i don't think big ruhl is soft.he was soft at the olympia 2005 but prior to that ruhl looked amazing.280 refined pounds...i will say again I DON'T GIVE A SHIT IF HE HAS SYNTHOL OR NOT.it looks amazing wat so ever!!!

my calves actually have that split int he middle. with proper lighting you can see it. i shock many people when i lift a pant leg. most people roll up their sleeves but i roll up a pant leg. my arms will never reach my calf size. even with synthol. you know lucius i noticed you're obsessed with synthol. you know if you drink it your eyes will be opened knowing good and evil?

The dumbest shit I ever read on this board. And that means alot on getbig. It's not synthol it's a (partial) tear. It's funny, Coleman has a lump on the exact position on his lats, yet I've never read people screaming synthol when seeing it. But when seeing it on Rühl everybody screams synthol.

Coleman has an identation from a partial tear where his lat inserts. Ruhl has multiple lumps in the middle of his lats ::) Can you say "synthol"? ::)
