viruses
« on: February 07, 2009, 08:16:30 PM »
Today I found out I have worms and viruses and spyware. I have Mcafee and it didn't find anything when I did a scan. Cyberdefender shows I have a bunch of shit on my computer. To get rid of it I will have to spend 50 bucks which is no biggie I guess. Anybody know anything about cyberdefender? Also, I have credit card info on the computer. Do I have to actually visit the site where my info is for someone to get my info ? Thanks.

Cyberdefender may do what it actually says but from the feedback i've read about it it sounds like it's vindictive if you decide you don't want to use it. Ie. you won't be able to uninstall it.

I downloaded spybot and adaware and they both say I am good with no spyware. Mcafee said the same. They are all free. The ones that say I still have some shit on my computer are the ones you have to pay for. That's kind of strange. Maybe they say that just so you will pay. Not really sure.
