I'm enjoying training in the heat but its taking its toll. Its 8 pm here and I will be asleep at about 9 getting up about 9! Just started a small course of test e and deca to assist

VERDICT ON MY BACK = L4 + L5 disc bulge disorder,with some arthtitis present in the lower lumbar region.

Will still be training hard.....if I have a day like yesterday I will skip it until I can do it.

In the meantine in between time, I will be following Kranks rehab advice,doing something daily.

1) Did they do an MRI?
2) What you were told is not all that uncommon.  You either flared up a disc or the facets are inflammed as all hell.  Ice right now...bring down inflammation.  15 - 20 mins max...bag of ice over a paper towel..not a damn bath/face towel.
3) Movement is going to be your friend...so DON'T fucking lay around.  Do the rehab...1 - 2 times a day
4) Can you do sled work at your gym?
5) The facet joint shots are not as effective as pain management would like to think....this is based on research.

Mixed grip doesn't use wrist wraps.  ;D My set of regular straps broke 20 years ago and I gave away the figure 8 straps I had because I hated them. Chalk it up!

Yes they did a CAT scan.

They told me a hot pack swss better....I actually told them a friend recommedndedd ice (meaning you), and they sad no,use heat.

1) As long as they didn't tell you had these disc issues with a fucking x-ray....fine.  Did they mention anything about canal or IVF stenosis?  (Make sure you get the report...PM me with it...I suspect you'll need a re-read.  ER reads are not the greatest.  They are not looking for shit like disc issues.  You will likely want a musculo-skeletal based radiologist to read)

2) Fuck that on heat right now.  You do that, you will likely end up feeling a fuck ton worse.  Immediate reduction in inflammation is what you want.  After the first few days, then contrast (hot/cold).  What meds did they give you? 

3) Get off that non-existent geriatric ass today

4) I don't give a flat fuck about your COPD.  Your going to start doing some reverse sled pulls.  Start with an empty sled you hankins-ish bitch.  Get yourself some CLOTH small resistance bands (look on amazon for booty bands...cheap as hell.  DO NOT get the rubber ones...they suck).  I will add some exercises for you....need to see the CT report first

I didn`t read the last page of the report,L3 is also bulging and they did say to apply heat after a while.

Meds prescribed = Meloxicam + Cyclobenzaprine.....7.5 mgs. 2 X a day,and 10 mgs.3 X a day or as needed respectively.

Panatta t bar shrugs 5 sets 10
face pulls 5 sets last 2 triple drop

baking beyond belief but a hell of a pump

all done in 50 minutes so no waiting round for the grass to grow


oh we have a board of top lifts and weights in our gym

we have a lad under 90kg who has pulled 270kg deadlift.and a sub 65kg woman who has done 170

Hi Chaos !   🙋‍♀️

We are running 10K per day in the hills and tonight we are going to deadlift (so I can learn how to do it properly). I have been practicing the “sumo style” most of the day while I’m out walking. My niece is going with us and she is also practicing but she is too small for a belt (size zero).

I sent you some photos of the Duomo. Will send you some of us deadlifting tonight. I am also going to try a 75 lb curl at 134 lbs. I ate a lot of gelato today so I have a little bit of a Hankins gut going on.

Wes there are two things you must always remember with Meloxicam, use the absolute least amount you can for the shortest amount of time possible.

25 sets of dips this morning reps slow and controlled Bodyweight of 245 No extra weight, walking laps in gym in between sets 1 minute between sets. Started around sets of 30–35 and finished sets of 12. The chest,shoulder and tri pump were unmatched. Shoulder holding up well. Dips are prob my favorite movement but due to shoulders have done much of them in last couple months. Someone here was doing lots of sets of dips and got me all excited for them. I can’t wait to feel the soreness.
