The injury repair didn’t make the arm bigger are you kidding it changed the shape on the backside both arms are smaller due to Injuries and both are still bigger than yours but whatever just keep pretending the curl is some strange lift I made up

I do strict, kipping,and butterfly.  So?  I do have a stronger pullup then you.  I am about 195lbs...I could add 100# to me and get more reps than you at 225 adding 70#.  Math is NOT strong suit...as we have established on this board MANY MANY times over and over.  (225x13 = 15....etc)

The risk of shoulder issues with butterfly vs. kipping vs. strict is higher.  I will give you that.  Its for competition.  Thats all.  When you think about it, a pull up is just getting your chin over the bar, right?  So in a COMP you want to do that as many times as possible before you reach fatigue.  So, kipping or butterfly is the way to go.   For general fitness or training, by all means do strict.  In CF anyone that wants to do the kipping or butterfly needs to be able to do the strict first.  For them the kipping 'looks cool' all that but they still have to adhere to the basics.

As far as them doing nothing...I would submit that after doing something like this:

20 min AMRAP (as many rounds / reps as possible) :
5 pull ups
10 pushups
15 squats

I have done 22 rounds in that 20 mins.  My lats and triceps the next day are sore as fuck.  Just try it, even with strict and see how you feel.  Make sure the push ups are fully extended and not the half rep kind of things.

(queue major pin cushion to tell me I am training wrong, I don't have as big of arms, etc)

Thanks Wes, my buddy who lives a few houses a away has a sick gym in his Basement loves hammering forearms so we made it a forearm focusing day, the whole arm was pumped as fuck but the forearm pump was out of this world. It was different and fun and brutal grip wise.

Thanks for explaining that krank, I always wondered why I saw people doing them at the gym. I understand in competition and I’m sure you would get sore I just think my shoulder would rip out and my arm would fall off haha.

22 rounds in 20 minutes sounds pretty damn difficult. I will try it in a few days and see what I can do.
