I am still in rehab mode and I didn't go in anywhere I did them outside I will add 50lbs next week

How long does it take you to complete all that?

How long does the six mile walk take and where do you walk?

That takes about 90 minutes. I’ve been slowing down to keep the strength up and to catch my breath.

6 mile walk takes about  75-85 minutes I average 5mph for an hour then drop a bit for the last mile.

I have a nice road/dirt road/trail by my house that goes up to a water tower and then some trails off that.

I don’t, I do them cause it’s the only version of front raise that doesn’t hurt my shoulders. I get a crazy shoulder pump but definitely get some bi out of it with a slight bend in the elbow so the bis are under constant tension. So it’s a nice side effect.

They do seem to be less "irritating" for me too whenever I did them. Thank you for the reminder!  As for biceps, I know that one of my favorite bicep exercise 20+ years ago was thick handle alternating DB toss.  Up to 55 or so pounds with 2.5" handles until I was near to dropping it.  It took a few years to get to that weight and now that I am thinking of it I may give them a try tomorrow with 5 to 10lbs.  I have a rubber floor in my little garage gym so I don't have to do them outside now, LOL!

I had a 3" thick or so piece of brass that was about 14" in length and would toss that for several minutes after eating my lunch years ago.  I got the idea from the book "Dinosaur Training".

No more thick handles now though.  ;D

I do something similar for lateral raises when the shoulders hurt. I don't think they are as effective for side delts but they certainly don't hurt as much.

I like thick grips for bicep and forearm exercises, even for shoulders sometimes. I like to use the blue or orange Fat Grip and do reverse dumbbell or low pulley curls following by static holds for 20-30 seconds. Great exercise for brachioradialis.

Anyone who thinks 4 sets of squats is not an effective workout is an idiot. I am only 1 week back from a 6 week break due to surgery. I also did trap deadlifts, leg extensions and calf raises previously this past week. I did not to hamstring curls as pad goes directly into the mesh implant so going to wait another week or two on that.

Pretty shitty day,first one I`ve had in a while.

Light weights felt heavy,no oomph at all....just felt tired so I cut out a lot of sets and went light just to get a pump.

I started 4 days earlier I believe but regardless tomorrow is 7 weeks post surgery. I still have abs. I still have striations in my delts. I am still vascular. I am still over 220lbs. But fuck no I am not going to ego lift heavy to blow out my healing abdomen.
