Don't lose focus here smurfette, take your time & re-read what I wrote. I'm already at 16.5". You've still got .5" to catch me. Another 6months-1yr on the juice & you should be at my level of arm development.

This guy is basically using drugs to make up for his lackluster training and diet.
I've been there and done that, with the 'lean' 15" or 16" arm. I used that whole 'lean' thing to soothe my ego, against guys much bigger and stronger than me.
I'll take my "bloofy" 18" arms any day of the week (and twice on Sunday). Of course, with visible triceps and biceps, that would hardly make them "bloofy".

if id go to "bulk" again, id have 20inch arms with somewhat visible lines, but i now have fully shredded 18inch arms and they look much more impressive
i dont think measurements matter anyway, that is a solid arm.and the question is legitimated, how comes he couldnt build the arms up to that size in all those years before, but now after couple weeks on minimal amount gear,they suddenly exploding.
I can give you three simple answers.
1) Training like a punk
2) Eating like a concentration camp victim
3) Over-obsession with being "lean".
I was reading my copy of "Legends 3" the other day. The story of the late Dennis Tinierio was rather interesting. This cat reporetedly had to push his caloric intake near 10,000, just to get over 180 lb. (and I thought I had it bad, back in 1996).
I've also read accounts about guys like former Mr. Universe, Roy Duval and ASC winner, Mike Francois.
It took years of super-heavy eating to get the major size they possessed, especially Francois. He was once a struggling 185 light-heavyweight. Two years of mega-high calories and heavy training turned him into a monster heavyweight (super-heavyweight, by today's standards).
When he finally dieted down, he was winning shows, left and right.
That, and other examples, led me to believe that (especially without drugs) if I really wanted to get significantly bigger and stronger, it was time to EAT, and I mean EEEEAAATT to put on the mass I wanted.
I only wish I still had my flame-thrower of a metabolism from back then, coupled with the experience and superior protein supplements I have now.

Nope! In fact, I stopped training to failure almost 20 years ago. I couldn't recover from it. BTW, doing such isn't always the best for growth. Ask 4-time Mr. Universe, Bill Pearl, who almost never did such.

BTW, who said anything about eating "cleaner"? I didn't. In fact, many folks in your situation or in mine (years ago) need to do the exact OPPOSITE. That is, whole eggs, beef, whole milk, lots of heavy carbs (potatoes, rice, etc) and so on. And, if that doesn't get it done, add in high-calorie weight gainer shakes.

if you built 18 inch arms that are fairly lean naturally then you have superior genes and/or great insertions. That is very far from the norm
but then again everyone online has 18 inch arms for some reason, yet the average gym rat sports 13-14's ::)

To a degree. But, training and eating, especially based on your bodytype, also play a role.
That's why I say that those, who need size, should focus on that FIRST and quit worrying about being "lean", steroids or no steroids.

why didnt it happen before.why does it happen now, no parameters changed other than hrt.
he deserves respect, he came a long way, he didnt just randomly start with gear from the getgo, he almost paranoidly researched everything he could asked questions, kinda maxed out naturaly, and then went on sane dosed gear.smart approach and it pays off.

been paranoidly researching anything bodybuilding related for years, not only on getbig. read all them books like "brawn" and "super training" and "science and practice of strength training" and "weightlifting encyclopedia", talked to ex national weightlifting team of ukraine and their trainer. all in the pursuit of secret to some natural gains

Sergio Olivia could not contract his biceps fully, his forearms hit his biceps before full contraction. Probably the biggest arm ever and may still be. The measurements in the magazines and internet are overblown for marketing and sales.

and when its all said and done, what most look for will be easily achieved by some hrt test and somewhat clean diet,and thats that, the only sides one risks are maybe gyno if theres genetic predisposition or hairloss(whichd happen anyway).

from natty to hrt is a huge jump.from hrt to 500is imo the next kinda huge jump if done long term, but anything above 250weekly really isnt even remotely maintainable,and the returns-results will be smaller the higher one goes.

150mg test HRT and 50mg tren ED gives me the same exact results as huge cycles did..I maxxed out my average-joe genetics long ago and don't care to kill myself trying to put 1/8th of an inch on my arms
at 220lbs I eat 2000-2500 cals a day max , not a daily KFC binge like some of these All Natural studs do to maintain their rock hard natural 19" arms.

you see how much muscle one has when hes very lean.6-7% fat.
and all naturals will look skinny and thin and pretty much the same(size wise)when theyre that ripped.some will look better due to superior structure of skeleton and mucle insertion, bellies etc, but as far size goes they will all be small.
how one looks at 15% bodyfat and in clothes absolutely doesnt matter.
the reason why pros go higher in weight offseason is simply because they dont care and they want lenient diet, cant be on competition diet all year.
they dont really come bigger after cutting back down either, these days only the guts get bigger, guess what,that might have something to do with bulking.

Those are the people (and I used to be one of them) who need the dense foods, like beef, eggs, whole milk, etc.
Chicken breasts and egg whites did little for my frame. When I added those not-so-"clean" foods (and some weight gainer), business picked up, as did my size and strength.

16" at 4 percent body fat is different from a soft 16" arm at 14% body fat. That guy could be even leaner. 2% isn't out of the question.
Both guys might weigh 175lbs. The picture you show of that guy has 7 pounds of fat and 168 lbs. lean. The other guy is 24.5 fat and 150lbs lean. One arm is hard lean muscle and the other is soft.
