As you say not likely at all, the last time in 82 they played out a draw with their ''friends'' Austria.

Thing is matches are played simultaneously for last round of group. If it is 1-1 for example neither team will open up for fear of going out. That isn't match fixing, it is common sense. Both teams would play conservative. If it is 2-1 to either team and other match is being won easily it would be very different.

Argentina have been surprisingly shit so far. 2-1 v Bosnia and 1-0 v Iran hardly inspires. Di Maria was great for Madrid and Aguero is great and has been shit. Hope they improve otherwise PIP.

Hahahaha!

 :(

I love the WC. One of my saddest memories is watching Switzerland v Spain last WC while being strung out and not caring. I am sober now and love watching it and feeling alive.

It's amazing seeing photos of cities around the world going apeshit, global game global appeal.

Yeah but all Brazilians hate Pele now, total sellout.

I wouldn't stress much if I was American. A draw guarantees USA and Germany qualification, with Germany 1st on goal difference. Ghana would need a win by +2 goals to get through. Portugal need a miracle.

Pele was great player, but Garincha is my favourite Carioca !.

Clown!

Another great Americant hype job like Landon Donovan.  Somehow he can;t kick the ball out of bounds with :25sec on the watch.

USA-Germany should be a boring game. A draw will allow both team to reach the second round so why give it all when you can have a training session indeed.

USA should have played it cool last night too, but they failed at it. They may fail again at just keeping the ball. Should have listened to Klinsmann, who was yelling for them to go back and keep possession. So I think the US will try to attack too much and will get slaughtered when they do.
