Most peeps will say to stay away from fruit when cutting. I wouldn't suggest you do, don't go all out on the fruit have a piece after training and you should be ok, providing that your within your caloric limit.

Would a piece a day be ok, bananna/apple/orange?

If you're cutting just to cut...sure, like the guys said it's fine.

If you're getting ready for a show, then absolutely not.

Stick with berries, a bit less glycemic. Strawberries, Blue, Red, etc.

Thanks Busy, I was wondering what fruit would be optimal if any, I'll stick with blueberries.

fruit is great for you. Don't discriminate and have some everyday. Shawn Ray was a big fan of watermelon.

yeah if your just losing weight for the hell of it, go ahead. but if your serious about dieting and want to drop the fat as quick as possible, stick to glucose...fructose quickly replenishes liver glyocgen and then the remaining is sent out into the bloodstream as ffa's.

it doesnt require insulin to be stored and the fiber in fruit would slow the gi down quite a bit. a piece of fruit a day, especially in the morning when liver glycogen is depleted is a good way to preserve muscle mass.
