Did a lot of biceps work on Saturday with my back workout. Yates-style rows hit the back AND the biceps for a win/win. Come to think of it, I did do rows with 80Kg on the way up. Huh, probably should have straightened up and tried a few curls.

It was a curl on a different plane of axis. No need to split hairs now is there?

I like the way that you are thinking. And it was controlled and I didn't shoot a lumbar across the gym hurling it up.

Maybe he hasn't logged in because his arms are so monstrously strong  now he can't use a keyboard without smashing it to pieces....

Waller, have you trained arms recently? Tell us about it.

I usually do an "arms" day (also known as "heaven") and it looks something like this:

- tricep-focused pressing movement x 4
- overhead tri extension movement x 4
- dipping movement x 4
- tri-focused pushups x 4
- pressdowns x 4

- barbell curls slow tempo, TUT, ROM (up to 80kgs  :D ) x 4
- DB curls, supination at top x 4
- spyder isolation curls x 3
- concentration curls x 3
- incline curls x 3

All sets done with 45-60 seconds rest between sets.

4 hours ago actually!

Started with DB curls to warm up.

Then:

30kg DB curls supersetted with machine preacher curls X 4
Straight bar triceps pushdown, heavy then 1 drop set for squeeze reps X 5
DB spyder curls with long squeeze at top X 4
Triple set of single handed exercises consisting of DB skull crushers, DB cross face and behind the head DB extension X 3 with a different order each time
Seated DB curls starting with slow tempo and hold at top, then fast burnout reps (for the cuts)
Single handed underhand tricep pulldown supersetted with overhand pushdown X 2
Triceps rope pushdowns with hard squeeze X 3.

Erm... However much rest I needed between sets, I'm quite ill.

I do less myself doing positions of flexion type training. You got all that covered though in your exercise selection -aj-

I still have some lingering tendon pain in my left shoulder that isn't activated on CC.

Plus, I still believe the Weider bullshit about having to "blast the muscle from all angles for maximum growth!"

I sure wish that Joon would get one of his many minions to post his biceps training vid in this thread so that we can all learn from the master.

Then there is the Gunsmith's Motto: "If it ain't broke, fix it 'till it is!"

I am ready to replace one of my twice-a-week leg workouts for another arm day. Legs are hopeless anyway.

If there is a Getbig God, I will be training arms with the great WalterWhite tomorrow at his gym. I haven't been to a commercial gym in ages. I hope that they don't mind me working out shirtless and shoeless.

As long as you don't use the bench for sex like at home you should be good. Will we get pics of the occasion?

Shhh...

I didn't want to ruin the surprise.

There will be pics as long as both of us agree that we look big enough. Over 50 Narcissism of Peace.

Experiments disprove your hypothesis. In my controlled lab, I'm even smaller still.
