Why the need to categorize yourself as being this or that, "crossfiter", "powerlifter", "bodybuilder" etc, that's just retarded. You practize physical conditionning, period. You lift weights because it enhances your healh -when natural- and...and that's about fucking it. It is badly required because we ve been designed to use our brains and bodies, not just our brains -or just our bodies.
Fact is building too much muscle, going too heavy for too long, always wanting to be biggers than other people cause you re not fulfilled by others domains of your existence -family, work, hobbies etc- training while using steroids etc all of this is actually DANGEROUS for your body -and mind- it is the opposite of what should be done, and no it's not better than doing nothing, it's just as bad.
The only healhty way of conditionning your body is to lift moderate weights regurlarly while eating a normal healthy diet. It's better than doing nothing,  but beyond that everything else is just too much and ultimately unhealthy, simply because people go too far -because others areas of their existences are left in ruins most of the time so they overcompensate-.

Just lift weights to get fit, toned, build functionnal muscles, keep doing it all life long, dont over obsess about it, benefit from all the good things it brings you and shut your fucking mouth.

I want to punch in the throat all of these assholes who use steroids and pretend to be christians. Christianism is about finding a middle ground, being balanced, pretending to be a christian while having an extremistic useless behavior leading to inject nasty chemicals in your body, chemicals you dont actually need to be healthy, is complete garbage. The only healthy way of training is to lift weights and eat clean, everything else  you do it because your self obsessed with your appearance , these people dont inject steroids because it's beneficial to their health, but because they want to impress others people. This is a typically atheist behavior, basically you dont accept the way you are naturally, you re not satisfied by your natural potential once it's pushed to its limits, so you go too far because youre narcistic and egocentrical.

I have more respect for a lost , unfaithful natural than for a so called christian who is on steroids and lies about it to everyone. How can you even pretend to be a christian if you lie about what you do to your body to look "better" than others. This is retarded.
There s nobody i despise more than coach , mark dugdale and other "bodybuilders" wearing crosses around their necks. The very fact they need to show people they are suposedly christians by showing an obvious sign says everything you need to know about the authenticity of their faith.

steroids are just one of the many things people use to change the look of their bodies ie makeup botox tanning the list goes on, and it is all self obsessive behavior evident in most americans thinking that they are important people or some sort of celebrity.

Tubby fuck, he stated it was a retarded crossfit exercise.  Perhaps the diabetic neuropathy is setting in and you are going blind.  Either that or the paint fumes are finally getting to you.  Now kindly start shutting the fuck up.

There was a survey in England asking people whether they are athiest or believers. Most of the believers were of course christians. The christians were asked the reason for their faith and something like 80 % answered "I like to think of myself as a good person". If this thought process is prevalent in christianity is it a miracle that some of the worst scum and filt accept this faith?

The women in crossfit are often as ghastly as female bodybuilders. They megadose. It's more beneficial for them, men dose to hold onto the existing strength. There are of course other benefits or drugs.

There's a lot of potential for corruption in crossfit in forms of different judging standards, exercise selection to fit specific competitors and select drug testing. This is because crossfit is more of a business turned into a sport, not a sport turned into a business. I don't believe it will ever be a legitimate professional sport.

This is soooo gay.

1. Cross fit is NOT A SPORT it's a fad it WILL go away and be forgotten soon.

Dudes like these are douchey as shit. I'm not against working out or having an active lifestyle like this...but at the end of the day all this dude does is excersise a lot. Big fukcing deal. ...plus the whole religious thing he's incorporating into crossfit makes it way gayer.

After age 45 or so - these "chemicals" may lower your chance of death (if taken in moderation. Testosterone - to be exact, and most probably - gh.).
Impressing other people is a part of being "fittest" in the nature, a part of making your chances higher to procreate with a better partner (witch you seem to promote).
You are once again using the worth "atheist" in a nonsense context, which makes me believe you have no idea what that word means to begin with.
If people would have been "satisfied with their natural potential" in the past - we'd not have airplanes today, nor we would live 3x longer than barely few hundred years ago, and many other stuff wouldn't be around. "Satisfied with a natural potential" would mean we should've stopped somwehere in the stage of halfhuman half-ape (even your god wouldn't exist, as it's a by-product of a thought of an egocentrical cockroach - homo-sapiens. You embody that part of egocentrism AND homo-centrism very precisely. You are NOT important, nor your kids, nor your god.. it's all just an illusion you believe in to make through this live in the most satysfying way for you.).
Narcissisim and egocentrism was actually a trait of many inventors and other people who left their mark in a history, but NOT in a negative way too.

You do realize that its been going since the 1970's...right?  Even if it did go away, look at how much more popular it became than bodybuilding.  Ever see Reebok, Nike, or any other major brand put their name on bodybuilding?  I like to say that crossfit is like WSM only for twinks :)

You are right though, the religious thing with CF is soooo bullshit

I have given a gift cert for 5 free Crossfit classes last month for my birthday.  I went to 3 classes (so far).... I can tell you that it is some tough shit if you are not already in shape or transitioning from moving weights in a very specific manner and pattern like bodybuilders and weight lifters do.

In my opinion you can get "in shape" with it, mostly losing fat and developing some mad cardio and conditioning skills, but it is not very conducive for muscle hypertrophy.  It was a very interesting class each time I went there.
