Libby didn't even do anything,

In your mind, is "lying to the FBI about your leaks of national security information" not even a crime?

Shit, man.  I thought you loved this nation.

To:  Atty. Gen. John Ashcroft

Dear Mr. Ashcroft,

Sandy Burger has taken top secret documents in order to save himself and the Clinton adimistration from their failures that brought on September 11, 2001. He stuffed the documents in his pants and socks. Now, some of the documents have come up missing. We feel that Mr. Burger's abuses of National Security and gross abuse of his power, is treason. We are asking you, Mr. Ashcroft, to charge Mr. Burger and those who knew what he did and not bringing this to the forefront with treason. We, the Undersigned, understand that this is a very serious charge that is punishable by death. However, this is a VERY serious breech of National Securty, he must be made example of, so people who have the same idea will not repeat the same mistake.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned

the crooked ass system lets people get away with these things.

you shouldn't be mad at berger.  you should be mad at a biased criminal justice system.

If you or I were to walk in that building and start eating nat'l security documents, we'd be doing time right now.  Why isn't he prosecuted?

Life Cycle of a Republican Scandal

1. You have no proof!

2. He hasn't been found guilty in a court of law!

3. Bill Clinton!

Yes.  Seven conversations in a short period about the story of the year.  And he forgot every one.

Cavalier, you seem intelligent enough to go to college and keep yourself out of jail.  Why are you so gullible?

Andrew Sullivan on the verdict:

Something is rotten in the heart of Washington; and it lies in the vice-president's office. The salience of this case is obvious. What it is really about - what it has always been about - is whether this administration deliberately misled the American people about WMD intelligence before the war. The risks Cheney took to attack Wilson, the insane over-reaction that otherwise very smart men in this administration engaged in to rebut a relatively trivial issue: all this strongly implies the fact they were terrified that the full details of their pre-war WMD knowledge would come out. Fitzgerald could smell this. He was right to pursue it, and to prove that a brilliant, intelligent, sane man like Libby would risk jail to protect his bosses. What was he really trying to hide? We now need a Congressional investigation top find out more, to subpoena Cheney and, if he won't cooperate, consider impeaching him.

Poor guy...innocent!  ::)

Anyone with the judgement to use the name "scooter" in adulthood's guilty of something.

Now, what about the conspiracy theories? ::)

Kelly ODonnell of MSNBC said what she thought was the VP motorcade came by the courthouse, then chose not to stop after the verdict was read.

Was Cheney going to do a photo op if Libby was cleared?  Or just a coincidence?

Is that a FOX news spin?   hahah

Or is it a future "Conspircy Theory" proof piece?

Or are they focusing on the 1 count he wasn't found guilty of?

It's the spin factor.

MSNBC had 3 guilty, 1 not guilty on the screen.

FOX uses psychology to make its small penised neocon viewers feel better about themselves all day. Seeing that is a WIN that they'll use to inspire them to text message male teenage soccer players or start a 3rd war they can't win.  Gooooooooooooo Joe!

LMAO    ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

The tragic part about this is that FOX is becoming so blatant at stuff like this while certain (Dean Gordon 'Cheese' Pritchard like) Neo-cons still have no clue.   ;)

Forget LIbby for a minute. If he lied under oath, he deserves to go down. I didnt sit in on 2 weeks of witnesses etc, so i dont know. The jury did, and I trust them.

So how does our intelligence gathering process work? WE just send some reporter Joe Wilson down to Nigeria and expect him to go around and ask people about enriched uranium?  Did he plan on going up to government officials and other shady characters and asking them?  What was his background in Nigeria or WMD's?  The whole thing, from the beginning seems like a farce.  Why send him, and then why try to discredit him so much?  Our government is inefficient.
Valhalla awaits.
