If you have your own homemade, what are the ingredients you use. If you don't have a favorite homemade, what weight gain product/powder do you purchase either online, or in a GNC, Vitamin Shoppe or other store?

As an example I like to mix protein powder, milk, heavy cream, peanut butter, olive oil into a big 64 ounce plastic jug and drink it throughout the day. My favorite OTC mass gain powder is Bevery's Mass Maker.

Personally, I stay low on the added sugars even when I'm on a gaining routine. I like to blend the following together: about a cup of whole milk, a scoop of protein powder, 1/4 cup skim milk powder, a couple eggs, a couple tablespoons of peanut butter, a chopped-up frozen banana or similar amount of another type of frozen fruit, half a cup of no-sugar-added ice cream, a squirt of sugar-free chocolate syrup (or other flavor), a couple tablespoons of quick-cook oats, spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg, and also fortify the whole thing with some old-school stuff like wheat germ, brewer's yeast, bee pollen, lecithin granules.

Healthy oils are one of the quickest, easiest ways to add quality calories for trainers who don't have big appetites.

Casein protein powder
Oat or sweet potatoe powder
3-5g Fiber (psyllium husk)

If you want to jack the calories up
mix with milk, add peanut butter and possibly maltodextrin/dextrose or cyclic dextrin

commercial weight gainers are absolute garbage
