I had to go to a sporting event with clients this past week. In order to get into the arena I needed to show proof of the vaccine or a negative COVID test within 72 hours so I had to get tested since I’m not vaccinated. If I was vaccinated I would’ve just walked right in. Before that I had to travel to the Caribbean on business and also had to get tested before going and before returning to avoid having to quarantine when I got back to the States.

Oh so the vaccine wasnt mandated you just needed to be negative for Covid19. That's not really new for international travel.

I bet the testing thing is going to be phased out pretty soon. Many of the venues are owned by the big banks and they’re not going to step on their own income stream by having testing requirements.

It was not mandated but if it becomes easier for me to just get the vaccine so I can travel and go places, rather than having to get tested constantly, I will just get the vaccine to save time and effort.

Your originally said it was impractical to travel without the vaccine, I travel in domestically in the US and I haven’t had to provide proof of vaccination.  I realize international travel is much different and it makes more sense to be vaccinated, as you said.

Honestly there’s so much information on this who knows what is true. I think Taffin said it best when he said Covid will kill you but the Vaccine is worse. lol.

I discount less and less of anything people say might come down the pike at some point, including mass sterilization or whatever, even more so because of the last year. If anyone posting here in Dec 2019 said that all gyms would be closed the next year because of a pandemic, I don't think any of us would have believed it. I always liked Getbig over all other BB forums, ones that I was aware of, because it seemed to attract people who saw through the BS about supplements, steroids, and anything else the magazines lied to us about. It seems the majority of people here also apply that critical thinking to non-bodybuilding issues, which is great.
