California's public universities to require COVID-19 vaccine
« on: April 22, 2021, 06:19:16 PM »
This is counterintuitive. University students face little or no threat from the virus. When infected they easily recover and their antibodies would remain far longer than anything offered from Moderna or Pfizer.  Most will not even have symptoms.

The vaccine will be required for this fall.  Plenty of time to transfer or accept a school out of state if you don’t want to get vaccinated.  Students applying to UC or Cal State school will have to sign a letter agreeing to be vaccinated or they won’t be accepted.  Lawsuits won’t have a chance.

best recovery, best immune systems, no comorbidities, 0% mortality but forced to take toxic shit in a syringe.

Next, the State of California will try to require a vaccine, just to step out of your house.

Relocation time!

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Two of the nation's largest university systems say they intend to require COVID-19 vaccinations for all students, faculty and staff on University of California and California State University campuses this fall.

Several U.S. colleges and universities also have said they plan to require the vaccination. But Thursday’s joint announcement from the 10-campus University of California and the 23-campus California State University is the largest of its kind in American higher education.

The CSU system in the nation's biggest four-year college system, with about 485,000 students and tens of thousands of staff, while the UC system has more than 280,000 students.

“Together, the CSU and UC enroll and employ more than one million students and employees across 33 major university campuses, so this is the most comprehensive and consequential university plan for COVID-19 vaccines in the country,” CSU Chancellor Joseph I. Castro said in the statement.

Stanford University also announced a mandate Thursday requiring all of its 19,000 students to be vaccinated when classes start in the fall.

The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are being distributed under the Food and Drug Administration’s emergency authorization. Health experts expect formal approval of at least one by the fall. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is on pause due to concerns about blood clots.

CSU spokeswoman Toni Molle said the timing of a formal mandate will depend on when the FDA gives full authorization to one or more of the vaccines and also on discussions with labor unions. It could come before classes start or after.

“We are announcing now so that students and employees have time to receive a vaccination in the event that we have implemented a requirement,” she said.

It is not counter intuitive. Have you considered that college students can be contagious and without symptoms or threat of serious illness while professors and other staff are often much older and therefore more susceptible to getting gravely ill with COVID.

We've gone over this.  60 yr old professor gets the vaccine and 19 yr old student doesn't.  the professor goes to the grocer and gets infected.  the professor has a prolific artificial immune response to the infection but some viroids survive.  remember thousands are still testing positive with the vaccine.  you just saw several nurses on youtube.  the professor talks to the student and gives him a viral load. the student's natural prolific immune system responds.  either way, if it is the student or the grocer, the professor needs the vaccine, not the 19 yr old.   the vaccines are not cures.

Commiefornia's Pubic Universities deserve to go bankrupt and whither and die.  They exist to foster the libtardian scheißegeist.

I hope their staff Covids up and goes the way of the Dodo.  Actually, I hope all libtards Covid up and assume room temperature.  They deserve what they have wrought.

You are generally a dense fuck, but I agree the vaccine is not the cure but rather the solution to getting out of this sooner rather than later.

Note that the wording states that the signee promises to get vaccinated, not that they have to be vaccinated to attend. This is because as long as the vaccines are under EUA, requiring vaccines is against federal law.  The UC system is assuming that one or more of the vaccines will get regular FDA approval by the fall.

Social media posts while in a clinic with a thumbs up seems to be how most people are proving it.

You receive a CDC COVID vaccine card with your first shot.  You bring it in to be updated for your second shot.  I've read that it should be available digitally, so you can just display whatever code on your phone.

Cowards.  They will get beaten in the campus library by gang members. That's what all cowards deserve.

Sadly, this is very true and if you post anything stating that you don't trust the vaccine on social media, you'll have your account locked out

Abe - True Believer

Until a year ago, Fauci’s stance and that of the WHO was that asymptomatic transmissions are rare and have never been a driver of pandemics. “That’s not how they work,” said Little Tony.

And if you’re going to tell me Covid is something new. How would you know that when they just started testing for it a year ago?
