I can't find any reporting on PA.  Only MSNBC which says it's Obama.  Don't know why they're not updating the map.

a lot of them look close... they use exit polling and results of certain zones to look at total population to make the calls... are they wrong sometimes?

just saw that, they're screwing up the precinct reporting numbers this election, so far in several election centers.  odd

nah, the polling folks called in the numbers at 10, 2, 6, and end of night.

10 am = big mccain numbers, since elderly people vote early.

6 pm = heavy obama voters, the blue collars as they leave office.

I was just lost a bit at calling a state when the precincts reporting number is listed at 0.  clearly they had more reporting to call the state or maybe I'm just remembering wrong and they're projecting based on a sampling?

yeah - I knew at 10 AM this morning that Mccain would destroy Obama in lee country, FL and collier county as well. 

The media poling group that i worked for feeds these numbers to FOX/ABC/CBS/NBC - one big group that they all get.  We hit every 5th voter with surveys and calculated them like mad.  They know the results better than the precincts who are still counting.  But they can't call it early - remember they did that for Fl/Bush in 2000 and it was a nightmare.
