I've only ever really liked one of their songs and that was a cover version of Stripped by Depeche Mode. I thought Rammstein's was better than the original... Not too clued up what they've done since the 90's. This video is not exactly what I expected from them, tbh. Last one I watched was Sonne or something like that.

Opening with 'Fool for the City' set the tone.
I joined that Columbia "8 records for a penny" deal when I was 13.
Then they kept sending me shitty albums afterward and bills after that. I was throwing away the bills and shitty albums.
Once the legal letters started showing up, my Dad wrote them back and said "You realize youre dealing w/ a 13-year old kid, right".
Never heard from them again... ::)

The first time I went to Germany on my honeymoon, we ended up closing this bar down with our waitress and the bartender. It was pretty cool, hung out and listened to music. I brought up Rammstein Du Haast and she said “I don’t like them, it reminds me of 1939”. I figured that meant they were right wing German nationalist.

Once at s gym a towelhead told me shut off the Rammstein, "this fucking Nazi music," I think it's the German language itself which they associate with Nazis. I'm pretty sure Rammstein are well vetted and LBTQ friendly etc, otherwise they wouldn't be allowed to exist. Even the slightest right wing sympathies combined with this type of aggressive music, along with being white Germans... forget about it.

The part allegedly mentioning the "Holocaust" is misleading at best. What you see here is the principal V-2 rocket testing site at the Peenemünde Army Research Center located in the North of Germany ( Heeresversuchsanstalt Peenemünde ). The testing site was called Test stand VII ( Prüfstand VII, P-7 )

Lead guitar Richard Kruspe is seen wearing a SS uniform with the rank of Major ( SS-Sturmbannführer ). This choice of rank is not a coincidence as it directly references Wernher Von Braun, who was the technical director of the facility.
