Megadeth covers one of my favorite Priest songs off of my favorite Priest album. (Hell Bent for Leather).

Delivering the Goods (Obviously the vocals are lacking). Not many can pull of Halford range.

As a whole they're better

Nothing can beat Metallicas first four Albums but the rest was not as good, St Anger was sheisse for example, Load and Reload what a bunch o crap

As far as instrumentals that may be so although all of Megadeth's songs sound the same to me.  The quality of Metallica's music and live performances is preferred by me and millions of others over Megadeth.

Ride was where Metallica embraced more melodic guitar like iron maiden
Puppets was perfect
Justice was perfect
Black was mainstream and they lost the melodic guitars
Anything after was shit.

the new apple iphone commercial has Megadeth playing in it - by far the coolest TV commercial in a long time

I like Metallica and Megadeth equal - both are awesome and different - the comparison between the two is fucking stupid. if you like metal (I used to be a big metalhead in the late 1990s) they are both solid and different.

the first metal song that blew my mind was Symphony of destruction

i think many of my best workouts were fueled by megadeth CDs while i rocked a skip free CD player. god damn that CD was big to have on my waste back in 1999-2001

I’ve seen them 5 times live when they come down here. All concerts are pretty much the same, they might play fuel or another latest song but then James says ‘oh so you like the old
Shit huh?’ And the rest of the concert is ride/puppets/justice/black albums. Very cool they do that as nobody wants to hear the new shit.

I would have like to see guns n roses live. Axel’s voice is fucked but what they should do is overlay his vocals from an old live concert. People would accept that. Nobody wants to hear how bad his voice is now.

Probably one of my favorite metal bas players. (I play myself so he was one that I molded myself after).
Steve Harris is of course the "metal-bass god" for me, but of course there are other influences. (I like finger-players over picks).
