Social media is a social ill. It really is the worst. It allows every idiot to blast out their uniformed opinion on absolutely every issue. And be completely obstinate about it. There's no requirement to be open to any counter opinion either and it gives way to a mob mentality of similar ignorant people piling on with their judgment. There's no discourse, civic debate or self reflection. The ignorant will just argue and,when that doesn't work, insult.
The remaining garbage on social media is people posting every-highly edited- detail of their mundane existence. Some fat cow posting endless selfies, or a picture of their lunch, or somebody posting a picture of their rug.
Don't worry Vince, half the pricks piling on you about animal cruelty will eat each other on some other opposing social issue whether it be gender, race, religion or politics. Their not loyal, they'll turn on each other in a heartbeat. Like you said: hypocrites.
