I've lived in a lot of places, I've never seen a homeless Asian person, are there poor Asian people? Sure,  but I've never seen a homeless one.

They typically have a very close family unit and i think that helps.

It's also seen as embarrassing to put older folks in retirement homes; they will always care for their elders out of respect.

well i've seen quite a few in the big asian hoods in nyc, but we're for the most part dealing with 1st and 2nd generation immigrants, they roll 15 deep in a 3br townhouse. Family matters to them.
