I am the only person in my house who drinks alcohol. My wife didn't drink. People who don't drink at all think anyone who does, no matter how little has a problem. My son drinks beer. It is a prerequisite for anyone living in Bavaria. 
For some reason I was wondering whatever happened to King Shizzo. Sorry to see he still has not posted since last February when he was completely down and out living in his car and begging for money.
Prime, please be assured that I do not think people that drink adult beverages have a problem. I have never consumed alcohol but I know a problem when I see one as my father would drink himself blind and suffice to say I would put myself between him and any other family member he would go after during one of his blackouts. I could take the beating and did so rather than see my sisters, my mother or my brothers take it.
I know what it is to be literally thrown through a wall (and worse), albeit the standard sheetrock walls of a tract home. I still loved my father and on his deathbed he apologized and I forgave him and told him I loved him. He did hit my mom one time when he was drunk and I was home. I flew up the stairs and easily lifted him by his throat off the ground and slammed him into the wall where the studs were (approx. 16" on center) and made it clear I would remove not just his arms if ever he harmed my mom again.
You cannot be like this man had become by just having an occasional adult beverage. You are not that kind of person. I also was the designated drive for a group of us when we would all go out to try and meet women. It was guaranteed I would not be going home with anyone and so I drove and I also told my friends after they had drank too much if the girl they were dancing with was pretty or my friends were just pretty drunk.
Again, I do not drink alcohol but I do not hold it against those that do. We have our differences you and I but I will never lie. Be well, sir.
